dang. i kinda want to get a couple of copies to give to friends. thing is nobody really showed any interest in the game the last time i was offering free copies of it. plus it could be 15 dollars towards something else.

I don't know, but this happened to me before. I wanted to buy a bunch of extra codes during a sale, but it wouldn't let me.

When you purchase a bundle, one of the copies is automatically associated with the account that purchased it. The point is to allow people to buy a game for themselves and their friends, not to allow people to buy a game in bulk for the purpose of trading or selling. Obviously this is a problem in cases like this where people just want to buy multiple copies of a game to give away, but the game is already on sale by a decent amount as is. If you already own the game, you simply won't be able to purchase a bundle since steam doesn't allow you to purchase a single item more than once.

One of the two copies would stick to the dupe account, so it's pointless with a two pack. In practice you wouldn't get banned for owning multiple accounts unless you're mass item farming (ie hundreds or thousands of accounts), but I'm pretty sure it's a ToS violation. I'm not a contracts expert though, so take that with some salt.

And I think there is a "hot deal" in "Green Man Gaming". The game price has dropped to $3.74 for today. If someone know better please make a thread for this new.
