Because Skullgirls is getting a release in Japan, could this mean we're getting a Skullgirls character into Smash Brothers?

just... no. Why do you think SkullGirls being in Japan means that it'll jump over to Smash?
 
I am sorry to say but it is next to impossible that a character representing Skullgirls would take a spot in SSB.

Just because it got localized in Japan it doesn't mean that's all it takes to get into Smash.

Nope. Just because Skullgirls 2nd Encore gets a cut in Japan doesn't mean a Skullgirls character would be in Super Smash Bros. Sorry.
 
Yeah. Just like everyone else said,just because Japan's getting a dub of the game doesn't mean that any of the character would get in Smash,even if we really wanted them to. This thread is flat out confusing me hands down.
 
thread is now omg they sound so good in Japanese. The tropes have been filled very nicely. Before parasoul came on i knew exactly what she was going to sound like in japanese. But this is a rare case where I like the english more than the japanese. Not that the japanese sopunds bad.

oh also someone modded cerebella into smash. It's a monster.

It would be nice, but damn near impossible. Like everyone else has stated, it won't be in Smash. Sorry to burst your bubble bud. And plus it would only go to one slot, which would most likely be Filia, but even then Nintendo would be kinda skeptical one way or another, but even if they do, she would have to control somewhat of like Ryu, but since Ryu is so unique like that, I don't think they would want to spoil that by putting another character in like that.

Again, it would be nice, but it just won't happen.
 
But they already are in Smash Bros.
................along with any other character you can make a Mii of.

Yeah, but Ryu appeared in Smash Bros. because he appeared in Nintendo consoles. It's like I'm wanting Annie of the Stars from Skullgirls to appear on Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition since she appeared in Indivisible as a guest star. And I don't mind if guest stars are being playable.

Let's be honest the ONLY hope a skullgirls character would've gotten in is because of the smash ballot and there are WAAY more votes for more established characters.
 
Chester Cheetah and the Noid literally have more chance than a Skullgirls character

The left model is the one you've seen in my gifs/video. I stopped working with that one cause of the weird way the bust bone worked. A friend of mine made a new one (looks amazing too) but never finished rigging her and has a few things wrong with it, like the strap and the finger not rigged...
 
Look. I know you thought I was crazy. BUT hear me out! I know some people who voted for Skullgirls characters on the Smash Ballot. I myself, voted for Peacock. Since Skullgirls is growing in popularity, it is possible.
 
...oy, give it up. You really are stretching it. Just get a Smash Brawl hack and call it good. That is, when someone makes it.

If you really wanna know who people want in Smash, you can look no further than the Smash Brawl Hacking scene:

So, basicly Shadow, a new char select, a hacking tool, Cloud, Melee Mewtwo, Another Char Select, Sora, Shadow, Rosalina, and Sephiroth. If you dug Further there's more Clouds, Shadows, and Gokus you can shake a freaking WiiMote at. So. No. Skullgirls, or any other fighter aside from Ryu, is getting in. Ryu snuck in cause of a deal they made with Megaman.

Look if it were possible I would've voted Cerebella in but the honest truth is that it isn't possible in the slightest. You know who I voted for? Shantae. Twice. Mainly because Shantaes been an established character premiering back on the gameboy color/gameboy advanced days. Some would argue she's not an indie character but she has an established and very large fanbase. Skullgirls is still a relatively new game and only really has 1 game under their IP. The Skullgirls fanbase isn't as big as others and their a multiple people here who would and did vote for other characters. SG doesn't really have a flagship character like say Ryu or Shantae so the vote for a certain character is even smaller (some people voting for Filia, Cerebella, Peacock, etc).


Simply put its not happening. There is zero chance. I don't want to sound rude but I just don't get your logic.

Anyways,any SG character getting in Smash would be highly unlikely. Just to conclude,there's Kit's Cerebella Brawl hack if you want an SG character in your game,and the game getting a Japanese dub doesn't mean a character from SG isn't getting into another fighting game. Sure,a couple of us may have voted for an SG character in the Smash ballot (I myself didn't even know it was going on during the time and had no idea that sort of thing was even possible) but other than that,no one from the game's getting in,sorry bro.
