so was the thing ever announced? where the nerds people who went?

Is it George? Which you can't balance and made him servbot tier?

I really hope the big news isn't "We're breaking up the band."

I hope its something more like "We found a way to hug every single person in this room!" or "we somehow came into possession of all of your favorite non playable character's frames from the future at no cost or animation effort to us!"

Or maybe mariel will tell us we're all free now, and punch the convention's wall down. Then everyone can finally escape from anime.

I've been distracted by E3, so I haven't payed much attention to this.
I'll be sure to tune in, and I can't wait to hear the big news.

Guys, if this news is really as big a deal as we're hoping, then I get the feeling that the Curse is going to be in full effect over the next few weeks. We've seen that it doesn't go down without a fight, and it's even willing to go through Spooky if it has to.

LabZero, whatever you guys are working on, be sure to Save often, and upload everything to your Backups, your Backups' Backups, and even someone else's Backups. Check your batteries, check your tires, don't talk to strangers, hug your parents, and drink lots of water. Somehow we've gotta beat this thing!

well this game was cursed by the one character who died because of it. We shall not utter her name for she brings bad "Ju-Ju" to all.

True, but she might have only enhanced the curse, giving it greater wrath and purpose. The original curse must have started with Konami, when they apparently summoned clumsy, undead, and unresponsive QA Testers to deal with games like Skullgirls. You can see that Konami's continued misuse of dark forces has been taking its toll on them, and possibly everything they've touched. If the curse cannot be lifted, then we may need to call on the legendary Mike Zalmont to save us.

render mentioned Robo-Fortune would be legal for EVO (EVO is two weeks after the AX reveal), so maybe the lowest of all possibilities is the reveal is the robot's release date? It's exciting (new character! 2nd Encore's release!) and it is a reveal (mark yer calendars), but I'm hoping for some different good news. Like Lab Zero is getting paid big bucks to start a new project. Or since it is at the Anime Expo, they announce TRIGGER will be producing a 26-episode anime of Skullgirls.

The real announcement is for the Real-Life Robo-Fortune and it's activation date. They're calling the operating system the Skullgirl's Kinetic Young's iNflection of Energy Types, which powers the lasers.
