Sweet. Now, people outside of Asia are actually gonna be able to PLAY Final Edition (and 02UM if they didn't get the butchered 360 version).

I don't believe UM is on GGPO, both are the vanilla versions.

I know 02UM has no more Angel infinite and 02UM tourneys seem to always have K', Nameless, someone teams.
 
KOF98UMFE is out on Steam now, and they've patched up the launch issues so the netplay is actually passable! Buy it so you can eat my blitzballs.

And for those of you who already own it and have been playing for awhile, which characters do you play? I'm enjoying Mr. Big, Krauser, and Orochi Shermie. Projectiles, lots of reach, lots of damage.

I'm not a big fan of KoF, but even I can appreciate that games, for what they did to the franchise.
Vanilla KoF 2002 is still played on arcades, in Mexico. But that's only the PLUS version...
 
Fair Warning: the netcode of this version is worse than ggpo/fightcade
