USA SOMF: Skullgirls Official Meetups in Florida

Well i'm only going to compete for one game. I'm sure I can find a way to squeeze in for Skullgirls.
 
So who is going to bring the set ups then i have no ps3
 
I have this Saturday off, Would you like to do anything? I've stopped by unannounced the last few times just as a surprise but I ended up missing you every time. It's a little short notice but it's better than nothing. Shoot me a text if/when you want me to come over.(Saturday) In the past I'd show up around 4:30-5:30 but now it's open.
 
Saturdays are a no-no. Casuals are usually held with the Marvel guys in the middle of the week.
 
Any updates for the march 28th pre-ceo event and I can go Friday or Saturday and can volunteer my laptop as a set up but I dont have a ps3.

First, http://skullgirls.com/forums/index.php?events/ceo2014.110/ CEO2014 thread is up. It's not complete, but it's there enough for you to start planning! Just ask for the whole weekend off of work; save yourself the trouble.

Second, on the 19th of April Sorethumbs would like to hold another Tampa tournament. I was gonna wait to hear the DLC situation, but fuck it! Who wants to have a good time? I'm still on the fence about holding it on PC Beta (pain in the ass to set up, +2 characters) or whatever the PS3 version is at that point (way easier setup, possibly -2 characters). Opinions one way or another are welcome!

did some one say Tampa? wow I could easily do that since thats where I live, I probably could bring my PC for it

Who isn't going to UFGT? Who's free on Saturday afternoon during Memorial Day weekend? Who lives in Florida?

Well, all of you should come to this! It's the closest thing we have to a monthly, and I'm sure you all need the practice before CEO. If I can drive 90 minutes from Orlando every 3 weeks to run these things with my fucked up schedule, you have very few excuses.

You could see what @Lilman is up to, or ask one of the Miami guys (like @Kongk4) to pick you up on the way north. Do you think you'll be able to make CEO?
 
I can make it to CEO, this is just a tad bit shorter notice. I'd love to take a ride if someone is willing. That would definitely make it easier. If anyone can then I'd love to talk and plan it out soon, since I need to give my job a two week notice to take any days off.

Hmm... This is gonna depend if any of my family members are willing to take me to this tournament and pick up a random man they never met before. (Don't have a license myself. :^P )

Also depends if either of my College classes are kicking my ass again or not.

I am late but nonetheless. I live in Kissimmee, but I go to school in Tampa so yeh. I play SG (along with other fighting games) with friends there.

While we assemble USF plans...

I'll be hosting a Skullgirls tournament at the STVG Event near Brandon Mall on September 6! Give me a day or three to iron the schedule out and I'll put up the info. It might be our first Eliza tournament! Bring your friends!

Once September hits I'll also see what I can do to hold more Orlando tournaments. I'd like the home court advantage for once, and a new LAN center just opened up like 10 minutes from my place.

Hello, I was the random Parasoul/Ms. Fortune player at the Tournament in Brandon yesterday. It was awesome to finally meet people who actually know how to play the game lol. But I just wanted to say hi and I'm hoping to show up to more events in the state and to try and support the scene.

So this is the Florida Thread, cool I'd love to see a tournament or something around, I don't really know many SG players around Florida so i'd love to go to a tournament and see the glory if possible, or at least give support.

Well I live in the Broward area although im able to travel to an extent for Tournaments, conventions, etc.

I'm in broward. There arent many SG players unfortunately. Where in broward?
