Hello Skullgirls community! I'm very happy to announce that Stream.me in partnership with the Skullgirls Tour and Stream.me will be holding a fundraiser drive to bring international players to Combobreaker 2017!
StreamMe has graciously provided our organization with $2000 to bring international players to Combobreaker next month.
Starting on Saturday, May 6th starting on www.stream.me/skullgirlstour, the players selected to be sent to Combobreaker will be announced. Be sure to tune in and find out who you'll be competing with!
Additionally, any extra funds raised will be used to fly in as many additional players as possible. Every player selected will be from a different country of origin. Any additional funds past that amount will be added to Combobreaker's Skullgirls pot bonus!
The stream will feature several exhibition sets. Expect the stream time to run around 6 hours. We're in it for the long haul! Some ideas for exhibitions we're currently kicking around are as follows
-Japan exhibition (Japanese players only, with ENG commentators)
-European exhibition (same deal, but with European players)
-Brazilian Kumite
-NA exhibition (East vs West coast? The fabled hype match that never happened? What a great way to finally settle the score...)
We're currently looking for three backup commentators for this event. If you'd like to volunteer, please let us know!
Finally, we're allowed to run custom ads on stream. If you have an advertisement for a local, an event you run, or something fun like a combo video, feel free to submit it to me at fullbleed@k-p-b.com. We're having an internal video contest of sorts, so your video may be chosen to be run on stream during the event!
