Teleporting Painwheel

I don't if this is intentional and/or already known, but I found this weird interaction with PW's flight and center stage assist.
You see, if you do an air-buer xx fly while Center Stage is in the screen you will be teleported to the ground.
But if you don't cancel it nothing happens and PW and the opponent stay in place.
