Honestly I would like to see a community CMV. It's alway fun to see the kind of combos that people come up with, even if they aren't viable in a real match. I saw your vid for the FB training clan and was impressed with the choices and how it all came together.

I, unfortunately right now, lack the skill and knowledge to contribute anything really fancy, as the best I've got for self-made combos is a solo Fortune for around 6k. I'll support and promote this where I can though, and hope it gets off the ground. :)
 
You can totally search "Skullgirls CMV" in youtube and get results. Though I guess not "Skullheart" ones.

As for the combos, I can contribute connotations for bella, but not videos.

Edit: Well, that's not true. I can give you videos, but you'll probably need to replicate the vids on your own to get an acceptable quality recording.

Well if anyone need someone to perform a bella combo or some help to create one, I'll be there.
Actually the low amount (if any) of community gameplay projects I've seen always surprised me. My body is ready for one. Count me in.
 
How is such a project organized? People just submit random combos and stuff and you put them together?
What is the difference with a combo vid made by a few people on their own like fractal? Vid title says 500+ group but only 10 contributors/performers? I don't really get the deal.

The 500+ things was just a title. I didn't expect every member to contribute. Not everyone has a good enough PC to capture gameplay, have a capture card for their console, can do amazing combos, and other factors.

But yes, normally I give anyone a time frame to come up with a combo, record, and submit. However, with good planning, I can actually help anyone to record a combo they can do (online training mode). And I would take care of the rest (editing the clips). But in this case, I'm going to be looking for more than combos. I'll probably want to look for artist as well.

But before I start I want to make sure more people are up for it.

Looking for more people? There is a simple solution to that problem : TAG the f out of all the people you can think of that could have interesting stuff to put in!
@gllt @IsaVulpes @CaioLugon @ProtagonistHero @GN4RK to get a good start. On tapatalk so not really in a position to look for plenty of names, not even sure my tags will work correctly. You get the idea.

Hey people reading this thread : if you think someone deserve to get in the project and could be useful, be sure to tag him in here!

About artists...you're gonna have to be more specific about what you're looking for. Art doesn't fall from trees, ya see? Gotta be a bit more catchy and persuasive.

I guess you're right. I was trying to avoid doing that since I was gonna do another thread when I'll be accepting submissions. And as for artist I was gonna go the the art session anyway and figure it out what I need.
 
Uh, I'm not sure creating several threads would be a good idea...wouldn't add anything for now.
Keep it simple until we get enough volunteers in here to make that necessary. And I don't think it will ever get necessary, even if it gets real big.
Check the combo threads and tag people you see here, can't really see a better option for now.
 
I rather be sure but @Vadsamoht and @worldjem do you guys approve this project? Sense you two are the admins of the forum I figured I ask just in case you guys had already something planned.
 
Nope, nothing planned along these lines. Sounds like a great ideas, though - I'd love to see what you come up with!

Me and @dragonos451 are already working together to put up some serious Bella shit. I hope someone else is planning on participating. Bella's gonna be the star of the show regardless, but she needs some other hypegirls to pump up the crowd before she gets on stage.

Not to worry because I would like to see as many people here in forums as possible. I will make sure every character is involve. As well as any kind of combo: damage, multiple resets, style, and even funny/situational. Also @dragonos451 I really like the way you beat Marie so I'll put that on the video as well. And because I would like to see more people get involve I'm making a combo-making tutorial at the moment.

This is gonna be a fantastic project and maybe if the outcome is amazing, I might do this as a yearly thing. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll keep you guys posted on when to submit your videos and how but in the meantime, GET TO WORK ON THE LAB!

It's gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG video. or you'll have to make some drastic choices.

I got the unedited "marie perfect" vid stored somewhere but there will still be the OBS overlay around it. Tell me if you want a "pure" vid of it...so I can prepare myself doing it again...

Gonna do one more green vial assisted combo at most, I'd like at least 2 of my submissions to be cool without green vial. Not that I don't love it.
