Can anyone transcribe the ducktales moon theme for me?
I've been trying to do it on my own and i just can't.

I was thinking about writing up a (rather short) guide for translating music to Big Band notation. Is that something anyone would be interested in?

I hadn't heard that song before, but I really like it, especially the harmonies. So... I put this thingy together.

I don't know the best way to show how the parts line up, but this looks like it'll work. Top line is one player, bottom is the other, and the middle can be played by one/both.

I've noticed people have posted notation with 8HP and other attack buttons paired with 8. Would anyone be so kind as to explain what the 8 means? I'm quite new to the game, and haven't really gotten to understand the move notation in text yet.
 
They're saying directions in terms of the numberpad, assuming that you're to the left of your opponent.

7 = up-back, 8 = up, 9 = up-forward

4 = back, 5 = neutral, 6 = forward

1 = down-back, 2 = down, 3 = down-forward

So, 8HP = hold up and press HP.

Was able to figure out a few tunes by ear:

1) An original
2) James Bond Theme
3) The Legend of Zelda Theme
4) The death dirge (forgot what it's formally called)
5) Happy Birthday theme

The tunes are sized so that they fit inside Satchmo Solo, making them usable in matches. Here's the vid link:

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble with this one. It's simple to try and transcribe, there's literally nothing aside from the vocal line, which means it should be really easy, but my brain is being dumb and I can't hear the pitches. Sorry to disappoint 8bit but I can't get this down. I'll try it again tomorrow, maybe my brain is just fried today, but I can't promise anything. Sorry to get your hopes up.
