I'm really enjoying the song, not just as a "gimmick". The medley with the original track is quite well done.
 
Hey do you guys know why LK+HK and LK+MK+HK makes no sound?
Is it a trumpet thing or is it just so you can cancel the sound you're currently playing?

Too bad that it was played by a computer, but it's magical anyways.
 
To be fair, you'd need insane amounts of practice to play at that speed. That and/or suffer pretzel fingers while playing it.

So while it's technically cheating, we DID get a UN Owen rendition. And it's a duet, no less.

Oh my god...I stayed away too long...I love this game all over again...this is seriously one of the greatest things ever in a fighting game evar...360 version...my body is ready..take me now..
 
Just saw the Touhou video on Shoryuken.

The moment I read "recreated a popular Touhou song" I immediately knew it was "U.N.Owen Was Her." It's always that song.

You know, I was doing just fine being completely uninterested in this character. I had a decent practice routine. I was learning the game. Then you just had to go and post that. Now look at what you've done to me. Now I wont stop until I mount a comeback right after landing a level 5 and playing that song. IN TOURNAMENT.

My big band trumpet theme is now "Hold on I'm Comin'" by Sam & Dave. Now I just gotta transcribe it, and I'mma bustin up scrubs in about...two weeks.
 
I'm thinking of setting up an AutoHotKey script purely for doing a perfect Kirby death jingle at the press of a button. Must have notesss...
 
The fingering is actually the same with your real life trumpet. Note: using HP is the same as blowing a trumpet without pressing anything.
Now, we need to find a way so a real trumpet player can play with this thing..

yeah that would be pretty much impossible because how how trumpets work but its a really cool idea
 
I've been trying to figure out how to do that with a guitar for a while now... I just don't know how to quickly(and safely) translate those midi/audio inputs into keystrokes...gahhhh
 
When I realized that Big Band's level five let him play a song before, my mind exploded at the endless possibilities.

So I went with the Green Ranger Dragon Zord Summoning Melody.

HK > LP + HP > LP > HK > LK + MK > HK


Next I have to figure out the 'Price is Right' lose horn melody to use online...
