The GTA Online Thread

Well, there was. I've not played the game in months, as the multilayer turned out to be... less than I had hoped for.

Well with the new Updates coming i'm sure it will be better.
 
And better it has. I've been leaving and returning to GTA:Online for each holiday/special event (Hipsters, 4th of July, Flight School, Xmas, etc.) and it has become a better game. For instance, the on-call function makes it much easier to play (you stay in free-mode while waiting for a job to launch instead of being on a join menu for several minutes). And the user-created content is very hit or miss (some levels are more akin to prison experiments by immoral psychologists).

But it's a new year and the PS3 traffic is still high. Plenty of psychopaths wandering Los Santos who will shoot you as soon as look at you.

After several attempts, I made a new crew logo that mimics the Skullgirls logo.

Hmm.
Maybe I'll fire up my copy of GTA V to play with you guys, but I've kinda lost the passion due to the feeling that I was grinding.
Then again, I don't have friends 24/7.
 
Heists launched about a month previous and a couple days ago, GTAV came out for Windows.

I downloaded the patch for heists (it's huge!), the very day of release, but couldn't do anything because of heavy server overload. Then I got busy with other stuff and kinda fell off my radar. Too hyped for Beowulf right now, but I plan on getting back into GTA soon.

What do you guys think of the new Ill Gotten Gains Pt 2 update? 3 good things about it:

  1. Coil Brawler
  2. Lab FM on consoles
  3. Can make maps in Fort Zancudo and LSIA now

I like the Dinka vindicator, the marksman pistol, and the other new faster car.

Those are pretty good too. If there's one thing I don't like, it's that these prices are getting MUCH more expensive. Yes, I get that this is a "luxury" update, but look at the previous updates like the Business and High Life updates. I'm willing to bet if cars like the Turismo R and Massacro were released today, They would be 2, even 3 times more expensive.
