Encore could mean a bunch of things.
It could just be the DLC Kombat Pack's encore
It could be the encore for characters that didn't get to play.
It could be a stages encore.

Though to me it feels more movie-y, encore, who was playable last game? Freddy, he gets an encore. /SHOT/

The Brutality version of it would be just a drill up the opponent's ass as she just sits there and watches...

and duh one of her variants would be Shadow- aka Fukua (ish)

and her universal special would be updo.

Yay for shadows...Ugh, I just can't be hype about MKX anymore. I thought I was going to get seriously into it, but trying to come back to it now, it just feels kinda...off? I wanna slay sluggish, but that's not the case, game is fast enough paced. I wonder who will be revealed, maybe one will catch my interest.
 
Not sure if generic stock silhouettes or everyone there has a uninteresting look

Well this confirms it will have more dlc characters then either MK9 or Injustice.
 
One of the shadows i'm sure it is striker.

One of them looks like a ninja, so, noob saibot maybe?
 
The far-right character has rolled up sleeves, weird
is there any chance these are just more new costumes
 
I dunno, the one in the back kinda looks like he has weird ears...
It's striking me as Freddy-ish.
He also has a really smooth looking head.

Also I just realized that this kinda debunks the Xenomorph, none of them have an oblong head.
Unless like, suddenly at the end the damn thing drops from the ceiling as a surprise.
 
There's also the chance of these being more generic shadows to represent the actual characters that will show up

keeps people from figuring out who's who too soon
 
They did that with the shilouttes at E3 last year, there were some Roarshach shadows of course.
I really do hope we get Freddy though, he could get a lot of personality this time since a lot more talking is allowed in-game now.
