Squigly Cerebella
So I've been a little down on making any progress on improving in this game, so I've decided to start taking notes on what I need to work on. I've got the combos (for the most part). I've got the resets (for Squigly anyways). I've got some double snaps. Now I just need to find a way to implement all of this in neutral, which always seems to be a HUGE issue for me.

Squigly (2HP Assist)

  • Stop using SBO to convert off of grab at midscreen. It may just be more worthwhile just getting a charge off of them, and if I already have one, I can just convert off of the grab with either one.
  • Mixup my resets so I don't become predictable, or alternatively use better resets besides L Divekick into low/throw.
  • Be more careful under pressure. I find that I'm pressing buttons if I'm not paying too much attention, and I can't do that with a character with no reliable reversals.
Cerebella (H LNL Assist)

  • As FukuaTwerkTeam has mentioned, I need to stop being so jumpy, and find better things to do on the ground. On a specific note, use command grabs more, as the character IS in fact a grappler.
  • Get more experience with the character in general. My neutral with bella is unreliable and gimmicky at best. I tend to rely on fishing for lows after hitting people with j.LK, and it almost never works. I also end my blockstrings with LNL EVERY time, which needs to stop because I'm getting grabbed out of it constantly.
General

  • Be more aware in the game. More often than not I'm just autopiloting and using the same approaches, and more often than not I get caught by the same reset over and over again.
On a side note, if anyone wants to play a set with me who is confident to rid me of my bad habits (whether it be through gameplay or just straight advice), feel free to hit me up! And if you just want to play for fun, that's fine as well!

Hopefully I can get some video up later of some matches, but that will have to come later...

(P.S. if anything is wrong with the thread location/ wrong format, I apologize in advance. First post here)

Time to stop playing quick match.

Also, using Lnl in squigly combos more for like 500-700 more damage. Yeah.
