First and most importantly: Make sure to tune into Eightysixed tonight at 10PM EDT for a special edition of Saturday Night Salt, hosted for the benefit of Brazilian players who are fundraising a trip to Combo Breaker! During tonight's stream, a special line of t-shirts from Brazilian artists will go on sale (and be on sale for only one week) at Eightysixed Clothing's website, with all proceeds going to the fundraising campaign. Tell your friends, empty your wallets, be a part of the stream, and help a passionate group of Skullgirls players participate in what's sure to be the hypest major of 2015.
The first Salty! of April came bundled with a shiny new batch of Skullgirls updates, the highlights of which include:
- Beowulf has been submitted to Sony US/EU/JP for certification! Due to minor issues, Microsoft certification will take a bit longer. For all intents and purposes, Beowulf is complete and the team is now shifting gears back to Robo-Fortune. Speaking of...
- Skullgirls Encore for PS4 will feature cross-platform play with the PS3 version! Experimental tests of this feature were carried out earlier this week, with positive results.
- Robo-Fortune has her second set of special moves! She can now utilize a series of air beams to compliment her already stellar air normals. L Beam shoots downwards at a 45-degree angle, M Beam is horizontal, and H Beam is a horizontal multi-hitter.
- R.Fortune now has many more clean frames; normals, superjump, lasers, and dash effects, to name a few.

With work on Robo-Fortune speeding along, make sure you don't miss a beat: Catch Salty! live so that you can watch the updates unfold alongside the community! Watch Salty! here every Friday @ 8PM PST.
Thanks @Makross for the Youtube video!
Finally, everyone took the time to say their heartfelt goodbyes to @Shin ATproof, a long-time Salty! regular who will be moving to Japan to pursue his dreams of actually becoming Baiken IRL. If you missed the Vampire Savior and Guilty Gear kumites, then do yourself a favor and show up to Lab Zero's stream at 2PM PST to watch Mike and company do a voice-acted playthrough of Chrono Trigger on his behalf.
Good luck in Japan, Shin!
