Relatively new to the actual system-discussion scene, so maybe this is an old concern for the community, but regardless, it's an issue that's remained in the game up to this point:
What I'm talking about is inputs that require a combination of two buttons on the same frame (like a button dash) unintentionally causing two separate actions for the player. The most obvious (and significant) instance of this occurs with headless Ms. Fortune's button dash. Now, if you use LP+MP for your dashes (which would probably be most comfortable on a fight stick), this isn't a problem for you.
However, using MP+HP for your button dashes (which is generally the least awkward method on the console controllers) will cause two actions to occur at once:
Considering this, why not prevent individual button inputs from being counted when they are currently being used in a combination input? And if that solution would break some assist shenanigans, why not create a Ms. Fortune-specific solution by preventing head inputs from being accepted on the same frame as a combination input?
I realize that some people might be tempted to say "just use LP+MP for dashes then," but the fact of the matter is that Skullgirls gives players the option to use MP+HP for this, so why should the players who find this input more comfortable see themselves having to awkwardly balance head control and movement options?

- Ms. Fortune will dash/airdash
- Ms. Fortune's head will attack
