Report Update: Big Band Officially Released on Steam, 360 and NA PSN!

Just downloaded the update pack and Squigly & Big Band for EU 360. Does anyone else have the problem, that you can't select these two via Start button because all colors show as locked? (all, even 1 - 8). Tried Arcade and Training Mode, all other characters work just fine and you can select them with a button other than Start.
 
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, found the workaround as posted, even works with the other buttons for the rest of the colors. But since I didn't saw this reported in this thread I reported it. Glad it's already getting addressed :)
 
Who would play Big Band as their main always in the Vanilla version of Skullgirls? Oh god...

Would you be kind enough to get rid of your savedata and see if you still have the problem? You don't necessarily have to delete it, just like copy it somewhere else and have it not present when you boot the game so it makes a new save.
I have a suspicion it isn't properly importing the new initialization things ("you can use colors 1-10 for Squigly" etc) if you already have savedata.

The color pack will solve the problem but it needs to get fixed anyway.





Casino and Rooftops should unlock if you beat Squigly's story, and Glass Canopy should be always unlocked...?
Try getting rid of your savedata like I said at the top, boo. :^(

OMG, before I was done for tonight and go to bed. I tried Squigly and Big Band as a team on arcade mode on higest difficulty.
They are officially my first and only pair that took down Marie on that difficulty level. Only few tries (less then 10).

The key was luck on the beggining. Just spam "Dragonfly" with Squigly while jumping around Marie and use Big Bands "Brass Knuckles [H]" and hope Marie doesn't use thoese arrow/spear skeleton heads. They take way to much damage to you. And just continue on untill Maries last mode.
 
Hey umm the Palettes that would be unlocked through the DLC are already unlocked on all characters. . .I havnt bought any color DLC though

Not sure we really care about people getting extra things right now. More concerned about people not getting things that they should be.

Depends.
If you just mean colors 7-10 are unlocked, then no, that happens with winning online and beating arcade/story. And if your save carried over then that happens too.
If you have colors 14-18 for everyone, and you don't have either everyone's color DLC separately or the color bundle at ALL, then yes. But we kinda don't care. :^)
 
Big Band's on the NZ PSN store now, but he isn't free right now. You might already know, but in case you didn't, here <:-)

Thanks for the heads up. We are aware of the issue, and we hope to have it resolved soon.
 
Using a new save instead of the old ones,colors are working fine though I don't remember they going until 21(1-6 is unlocked, the ones unlocked via arcade/story mode/etc are locked, but there's a bunch after them unlocked which might be the color bundle). So yeah, if the colors aren't working starting a new save seems to fix the issue.
 
hmm, weird. so for all the regular characters i have all the colours unlocked (DLC, unlocks via story/arcade) but the colours that came with the BB and squigly updates are locked still.

for BB and squigs however 1-6, 11-13, 19-21 are all locked for some reason. i already deleted all my save files and made new ones but it didnt seem to fix it.

also river casino, new meridian rooftops, and glass canopy all remain locked despite me finishing squigs story mode.

It's both me and Ravidrath that keep tabs on the SG twitter and fb page. I don't know about him, but this crap really stresses me out and I probably have a lot more grey hairs as of today.

I try to answer and many questions as I can! That place is friggin nuts though.

And yes, that place is so terrible for informing people. Not as bad as twitter, though.
