Val Counter fails after the super freeze on Painwheel's Deathcrawl

As in description, sometimes after Val's counter initiates and the super freeze occurs, Painwheel will just keep going and hit Val. This is weird and only seems to apply to this super.

I get it to happen at 30" and 1'16" in the video. It seems weird, almost like there are a few frames that are not counterable.
