Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any videos of some Orange Vial tech.
 
I posted a corner orange vial reset/burst bait the previous page. You don't have to use an orange vial for it to work but it obviously makes it much better.
 

i think many people already knew that but i'll post it here since i didn't see it anywhere

edit: it can be done midscreen if you have the right assist to confirm off h bypass (like bomber). you can get more than 10k off counterhit h bypass on corner.

Since the beta has highlighted Val's backdash, air dash instant overheads, I thought I would just show what you can do with fuzzy j.LP.
This works against everyone apart from Peacock and Painwheel (needs testing).
Inputs:
Backdash, Airdash, j.LP, j.LK, jump back, j.LP, ADC, j.HP
The second j.LP will hit even if the opponent crouch blocks as it is a fuzzy.
If the opponent is crouching and gets hit by the first j.LP, then it will crossover some characters and the j.LP will whiff (apart from on Big Band).

Assist HP regenerates normally during the long cinematic version of Valentine's level 3.
You should always make them watch to heal assists.

Poison damage is still active during the animation, so it helps guarantee vial damage, and even help a combo kill if it would end earlier
 
I'm new to the community so I don't know if this is anything new, but Valentine can cross-up an incoming Big Band or Double with c.HP. I haven't tested if Big Band can Timpani Drive out of this yet, but I'm going to assume he can.

Another thing I found - If you buffer your inputs (the timing is a little tight, which you can see as the hit-stun bar under Beowulf almost runs out), you can convert off of Dead Cross H with Savage Bypass H without a Counter-Hit on what I would presume to be the whole cast (though if a character is crouching it could make this a lot more difficult???). Included is a sample burst bait that you can do.

oh hey if you weren't aware in this game counterhits do not affect hitstun and therefore have no impact in whether or not you can make a confirm.
Its only damage on the first hit as well as bonus undizzy
