I'm just going to preface this with the fact that after i deleted the controller config file and rebooted the game, all the issues were resolved but I figured I'd report it since the game was behaving really weird.
So I recently bought a Silent Joystick and Silent Sanwa Buttons for my Madcatz Fightstick Pro but after I installed them Skullgirls started behaving oddly.
- When I booted the game, it refused to take any inputs from the stick or buttons (even the LB/LT buttons which weren't replaced).
- I try moving the cursor with the keyboard, and it does nothing
- I unplug the stick, immediately the keyboard starts responding again
- I plug the stick back in and now the stick is working perfectly and the keyboard is still responding
- I enter training mode
- Suddenly the game is unresponsive again. Keyboard and Stick are both useless.
- Alt+F4 and restart the game
- Same behavior as the first time
- Delete controller config file
- Restart Skullgirls
- All problems are resoloved
So I'm not sure what the problem was but it seems to work fine now. Just posting this in case it is helpful.
