Who are the best Valentine players nowadays?

Does anyone even prefer retail val?
I mean, now she can get a confirm anywhere with any move that landed xx L bypass (except j.hk(1) because of horrible hitstun).
Besides, bypass loops are so much more fun and allow for a shitload of burst baits and crossunders at almost any part of the combo with a shitload of moves.

Val still has really fun+cool combos in retail. Its just everyone does the easy+boring ones.

It is a tradition for Val players to downplay the character, which makes it easier to make a case that she should get buffs (like meterless reversals). Since you are the best Val, Omni is hoping you will go along with this.

outlawspike hands down best online Valentino, he plays solo he doesn't need hornetbombers or updo's to land a hit in neutral like others mentioned in this thread.

oh you felt I was taking shots at you? really it was towards the online do it because it works community, obviously at the highest level of play things like that aren't going to matter but when you play online for fun and see all the drones doing the same thing it gets quite nerve racking.

If you get hit by M Hornet Bomber and run into Updo all day then that sounds like more of a personal problem.
If everyone just drones the same thing without thinking you should be able to beat it.

theirs totally a different level of respect and integrity(i hope) between tournament players and playing online. neither of those things exist online(where I exist) in QM except a few rare cases(shout out you) ya I'm probably overly salty majority of the time when I play this game but I do enjoy it and there is 0 local scene where I'm at and I'm hardly good enough to even think about competing as it is. anywhoo the post was in the moment and if I could take back saying others in the thread I would cuz thats just rood I let the perma salt get the best of me all the time.

Because tournaments have different mechanics I forgot that.

Online/ Offline / Tournament, the tactics, combos, game neutral all the same, if you said that all the Vals plays the same, just beat it and punish lol
 
online has lag which combined with lag vial is a game changer
