Why is Squigly so floaty and slow?

I can't get into Squigly.

Squigly isn't too slow but she's not blazing fast either. I think she's at a fine speed for someone that can control the stage as nicely as she does.

Meh. I guess it might feel like a bit of a handicap if you normally use Filia or Val, but you get used to it eventually.

I haven't played as Squigly but I love the way you use 'floaty' to describe her. I think I know exactly what you're talking about, Lucario in SSBB also feels 'floaty'.

Well technically, is hard to master, especially against Marie 300%.

She floats too high when you combo her too with an awkward, bendy set of hurtboxes. I feel like I have less trouble adjusting to juggling even painwheel and peacock than Squigly.
