Steam - Windows Windows 8 / 10 Crashing Fix!

Windows 8 / 10 is having a few issues with Skullgirls at the moment!

If Skullgirls is crashing on your computer and you are running Windows 8 / 10, please:

Try installing either the DX9 web installer

Or the full DX9 redistributable

The reason for this is because DirectX9 has been removed from Windows 8 / 10 and is entirely deprecated in favour of the more complicated DX11.

Installing the old DirectX9 should fix this problem!

This happened to me ever since last weekend, and installed the DX9 program, but SG is still unplayable for me. I experience a lot of lag online more than usual, and even Training mode is lagging. I set the launch options to " -ggpotimingfix ", reinstalled the game, and verified the integrity of the game's cache at a friend's recommendation, and although the lag subsided for a bit, the terrible lab is still there no matter what. Anything else I can do?
