back in the lore forum, i noticed an idea that really caught my imagination:

Just based on Filia's facial expression in the couple of flashbacks we see of her, I choose to believe that she was a major bitch before Samson got to her.

And I got kinda tired of Fukua and but still liked the idea of an EX-Filia. also EX characters have a long history in the Marvel vs games (Shadow Lady, Red Venom, Gold Warmachine, Etc.)

So I came up with M. Filia. What does M mean? Medici? Memory? Mean? Its all three!

Basically, its a version of version of Filia with her memories back as being a totally in-control heiress to an underworld empire.

The colors of her outfit are different because I like the idea of a character's look changing due to things happening. The best example I got for this is Tsubaki in Blazblue.

And it also works well with my Marie art from earlier:

The Ant Farm!

It would probably use the same hitbox as the rare kitchen sink. And when it hits it would send ants everywhere.
Of course the ants are there for merely cosmetic reasons and would not have an effect on gameplay.

also some would wear tiny hats. tiny hats are awesome.

While looking for old SG art, I found these old sprites from super long ago and I decided to update them a little. The top row is the unaltered originals from 2006(?)-ish.
I presume alex made them.

The bottom row is my mostly small edits. Except for Fortune.

i should have made filia wider.

I made this sprite in case I wanted to make an alternate color for filia. I made it out of that image with the DLC color pack examples.

the colors are her base colors.

I haven't updated this thread in a while, but I did notice that some other people noticed it.

I noticed skullgirls was on its third anniversary and robo-fortune is rapidly closing in. But I also noticed that some characters are rather lacking in certain animations, in that some have only one win and intro pose. It left me wondering if they'd get any more. And just how many thermometers does Valentine have?

So I was doing some ideas (using existing animations) and I hope maybe I'll do some more and people like them:

Spoiler: Peacock Intro Idea

This seems simple. Intro starts with a TV. It blows up and she leaps out. Its supposed to emphasize her status as a "cartoon" elemental.

Also she needs a more flashy intro (than her teleport in) since her actual intro wouldn't work on consoles and got converted to double's super car.

Spoiler: Valentine Win Pose Idea

Another simple idea. She's a ninja. She teleports up and the camera pans fast up to see show her standing on the ceiling. Its basically what Strider has in Marvel.

Seriously. She has to run out of thermometers eventually, right?

Spoiler: Parasoul Win Pose Idea

Basically reuse the Pillar animation half way to give her a nice "Satsuki pose". And then the egrets pop out and salute the other player.

Parasoul being a bit more stern could be neat. And more egrets is more egrets.

Spoiler: Bella Pose Ideas

Top: Midway through her LK animation she looks pretty cute. Maybe another intro?
Bottom: Devil Horns is just a cool looking pose over all. It with an "EXCELLENT" could be a nice win pose for Bella.

Just remove the projectiles and have Samson and Levi just yelling at each other as an intro. That's what I figure they'd do if they really met again. And they probably should also yell lots at Eliza.

Reenact the story mode battle of Big Band and Double with a battle of punches. Like in Jojo's and other similar stories. And then they knock each other backward to start the actual match.

I had these ideas on my mind for a while, and there's a few more. I just sorta figure I'd put them here rather than make a whole new thread about "Fan-Made Character Animation" ideas.

She needs a another intro and using the tag animation of her adjusting her sleeves, Filia displays more confidence than anything she does in story mode. Also she's going to run out of hats eventually since she's poor.

They need a special intro to display the majesty of perfectly symmetrical violence. And this is supposed to be a reference to the Ibuki vs. Makoto intro in Third Strike.

I wish I had donated enough to get the sprite compendiums, then I'd be able to frankenstein together my most ambitious ideas MUGEN-style. I had asked if Lab Zero would ever add it to humble bundle or something so I could purchase it and to give more money to them, but nothing really happened. So I'm kinda stuck with photoshops and screenshots.

I found this .gif online of double's standard win pose and slightly modified it. Double having more than one win pose would be nice.

I hope Lab Zero could add in something similar since that scene art made me laugh quite a bit.

Why not use Parasoul's tag in? Maybe make the cycle extra fast and toss in the napalm pillar effect and suddenly its Hayato's intro from MvC2.

Do people even remember Hayato? Or Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword?

and in case people wonder why I keep using the arena background, its mainly because I like the music.

A few days ago, I had seen a few posts about character designs in the beta changes thread and i got to thinking about what if val did cover up a little.

I really like the idea of the bottom color. And I think if SG takes place in fall, then she'd probably need to cover up in the winter in a future game, right?

And I'm a bit of a fan when a character's default colors change between games. Some examples are Black Tsubaki from Blazblue or Xrd Millia or even when Ryu's headband color changes between white/red in SF Alpha .
