Games you like that no one else does

Saint Seiya Hades on PS2...this game is awesome, especially the ost

Skullgirls. . .

Genesis Ghostbusters.
Wow, funny to see this game mentioned! I remember one of my favorite things from that game was actually the Pause Menu theme. Whenever the game got too intense, I'd just push start and chill on that screen for a while. Good times!

The lack of Winston really bugged me as a kid though. For maaany years I used to believe he was a hidden character with max stats (since he would probably have the best Speed/Stamina anyway), and you just had to capture all of the mid-ghosts to unlock him or something. How is it today we ended up with more bikini mods for Chun Li than Winston mods for Sega Ghostbusters? So sad!

Speaking of other old licensed movie games for this topic, I also remember really liking the Jaws video game on NES. Obviously the game has aged terribly, but the hybrid RPG-Shmup gameplay was sort of clever for the time. I imagine a more challenging remake with expanded content could actually be pretty fun to play.

Future Tactics and Unholy War, I can't imagine many people actually played these.

Goat Simulator (Although it feels more like a game that you either hate or love, there is nothing in between)

So confused by like 99% of these choices. Most of them aren't even controversial in any way, just obscure games or cult classics. And then someone put down plants vs zombies? Really? That's your game that no one else likes, the ultra popular smartphone game? Are we just listing games that we like now?

Yeah, though part of that is the title is ambiguous: Does it mean games you don't like that nobody else does (because they don't know about it), or games you like that others dislike?

Also stop being hip and answering Skullgirls, the game sold pretty damn good and has pretty decent following. There are lots of good fighters out there that are even less well known and obscure. Poor Battle Fantasia never even had a chance.

No my friends just don't like it, they're those "SF/MvC3 only" type of people.

Yeah, but in general even though it's a small crowd, it's generally well regarded and sold quite a bit. I wouldn't call it under-rated or obscure, it's just new and struggling to make a name for itself in the face of the giants, but it's honestly doing a pretty good job so far.

Turtles in Time Re-Shelled.

the only fault I can really give the game is that there's no invincibility state when you get hit. other than that I really enjoy it.

Super Dodgeball (Neo Geo) and some more games from the Nekketsu Koha Kunio/Downtown Nekketsu/River City Ransom. I love them so much, along with some of the other games listed.

*Edit* I also like Knuckles Chaotix.

Sonic Unleashed...the camera was a lil wonky some of the time..werehog was a gimmick and the combos you start with are ass..but as he levels up..his stages give passable 3d beat em up and platforming..and the day stages are excellent..the Sndtk is one of the best in the franchise..only sonic game I actually downloaded the physical soundtrack to and legit played it in my car..

Lumines

Nier
Street Gears
Sengoku Rance
Monster Girl Quest

Every .hack game.

That ps2 Eureka Seven game.

no, .hack games were awesome, i just spent like 120 bucks on .hack//quarantine b/c it was the only one i didnt buy at the time it came out and it just so happened to be the most expensive.

I was gonna say, I love .hack games. I seriously want that .hack fighter to be localized.... it's my Yakuza 5....

Shadow the Hedgehog, Ballz

Army of Two series
Prototype 2
Zone of the Enders 1
AvP 2010
Shadow the Hedgehog
Bioshock 2
Metel Gear Solid Peacewalker
and finally, Sonic Riders.

Power Stone 1 and 2 (i like 2 more then 1 btw) and then it's knock off's

Tom and Jerry War Of the Whiskers (Game Cube and Xbox has 4 player option PS2 does not...)
Grim Adventrues of Billy and Mandy (do not play this game on wii. play it one PS2 or Gamecube)

my family's a huge sport's lover type family... so i never see them play the games i want to play...

also don't forget about alien homid and castle crashers.

DmC: Devil May Cry. I like the new Dante... DON'T KILL ME
"Sonic 06"... Do I need to comment on that one?
"Tom & Jerry - Fists of Furry" That game didn't made any sense, like how Jerry can punch Tom like it was nothing? But well, it's a game. Not the real show.

DmC Devil May Cry... Everybody hates it and I understand that, but the fact that I never played any DMC games before made me appreciate it as its own and not judge the game for the reboot thing. Still I agree that having a reboot for Devil May Cry is a stupid idea. But Ninja Theory rocks so it's a great game.

Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. HATE ME IF YOU WANT BUT I LOVED THIS GAME. And again I never played any previous Banjo games so yes I guess it's just like DmC, I was immune to dislike such a game. The concept is great, great gaming memories and fantastic soundtrack.

Gatling Gears, because everybody was like "oh not another twin stick shooter for Xbox" and reviews were quite harsh for what I consider one of the best, if not the best, twin stick shooter I played.

Virtual On Oratorio Tangram, because almost nobody plays this (nobody in Europe for sure) and that's a shame.

Square Off. Because it seems like nobody played it on XBLIG (not enough boobs or pixeled blocks I guess) and i don't know if it has great sales on smartphones.

Dysnomia is a really interesting game on XBLIG. I loved the concept but only a few people played it, had harsh reviews and it's on XBLIG, so as long as it's not a dating sim or a minecraft clone, you're dead. Have it fixed of bugs and released on Steam and I'm in.

The Twisted Metal series. One of the best gaming series ever made and nobody in France heard about it. Twisted Metal Black is a masterpiece and "no I don't know, i only play FIFA and Metal Gear Solid"

And, I have to admit... Skullgirls. Seriously, I can't manage to bring more people on it, they're not interested in fighting games or want to stay with Street Fighter.

They are certainly more but I have to recall them.

Sonic Unleashed (Wii version. Haven't played the HD version.)
do it..IMO HD version is better..
