Scenes explained horribly.

It's made by Studio Deen, the golden rule of this world and every single universe It's to never watch a VN adaptation from Deen. It's like when you deny the existence of the Tsukihime adaptation, unfortunately there's one, but everyone just tries to forget it, that kind of golden rule.

Well, at least we got a great OST, opening and ending.
 
I will drop this here. The openings (2012 Anime Version) posted on Youtube have sadly worse sound quality. But feel free to check them out!


I haven't seen the original version yet but the second opening of the 2012 version has sparkled my interest.

How about Eden of the East? I love it.

especially since it has the best version of anime Jesus.

JC Staff isn't bad, they were just lost on what angle to go with it since most of the team that worked on it never played the original Visual Novel at the time and were handed it.

Studio Deen is alright, but they're not as shit tier as Gonzo. That company has butchered so many adaptions, including my all time favorite, that they don't even care about their mistakes and proceed to make season twos or ovas that follow along after.

Eden of the East was pretty ballin'. Pretty well developed characters, great animation, very nice story, and a guy who can make a woman crack up just by showing her his Johnny. Best version of anime Jesus indeed.

Netflix is a good service though.... and it has tons of anime

like Chobits, Trigun, Eden, Mushi-Shi,and Tokyo Godfathers.

So I have to ask (this isn't hate, btw, just curiosity): Why do people like Tenchi Muyo? I mean really? I don't get it. It looks like the most cliché, trope-y, mess I've ever seen(okay maybe not mess). Yet and still, countless spin-offs and sequels are being made. What exactly is it that appeals to people about it?

And I love me some Nichijou. I know that feel.

Original Tenchi was great because the characters were likable and it was a pretty good coming of age story for Tenchi.

now dont get me started on tenchi muyo GXP! THAT GARBAGE CAN GO FUCKIN' DIE! ITS LIKE THE PLANET GIRL OF THE TENCHI SERIES!

and I really need to check out Nichijou.....
 
I am a toonami child, but I don't remember Tenchi at allllllll....I remember seeing(regrettably) the magical girl spin-off (I don't even LIKE magical-girl anime) and GXP...and GXP is pretty freaking terrible.

Kids today can't appreciate what life was like as a Toonami kid. Ronin Warriors and Outlaw Star's trailers made me the man I am today....

My favorite scenes are the principle fights a deer and anything involving mio destroying people lol. I don't know why but unexpected wrestling moves make me happy. Guess that explains why I'm in the Wulfpack.
Oh yeah, and Gatchaman Crowds, tenouttaten would buy.
 
Re-watched RedLine! with a friend and definitely had a greater appreciation for it the second time through. What are your guys' opinions on it? If you haven't watched it I'd recommend it.

Redline manages to push my adrenal glands straight into my brain every time I watch it. Damn good racing action, awesome music, and fan-fucking-tastic animation to boot.

On a completely different note, I noticed someone mentioned Oyasumi PunPun somewhere earlier. Its fairly depressing depiction of human behavior aside (specifically, the adults around PunPun are pretty fucked up), the manga tackles philosophical/psychological questions in a pretty relatable way, the characters develop in interesting ways, and the art is pretty damn realistic.
 
So... I spent most of today watching Free!...

Quite entertaining.

On another note, Future Diary has best Yandere character ever.

How about after this we all have some warm fuzzy moments with Madoka? How can you be sad or depressed when watching a magical girl series? I mean, come on!
