why?
Meter management still exists. There are a lot of combo videos where both players have 5 bars, so you can't see how much meter you combos build you and your opponent. A lot of the time, combos will give the opponent a ton of meter for very little damage towards the end. This is bad, and can help your opponent make comebacks.

Well tha mayority of the SH knows about it, thats why we always looking for meterless combos or 1bar combos, and a don´t see what is bad that the opponent have the posibility to comeback in the game, personally don´t like a OTD game.

I don't think you understand what I'm getting at. What I'm saying is when people record their combos, they have max meter on in training mode. This makes it so you cannot see the meter changes in a lot of combo videos. What you personally like has nothing to do with playing to win, or at least playing to limit your opponents options in the match. The game has things set in stone, and it does not matter how you "feel" about it, that will not change the options and gameplans that will come forth from bad decision making

also I know I ate bursts, it was to push the damage further while staying at 1 meter. I was curious. If it kills, I don't care.
 
Once again: why not just do c.LK, c.MP, assist, s.HP, kanchou?
Pretty sure you can squeeze a little more damage out of it if you do st.hp instead of st.hk in the final string. Probably only ~100 but if max damage is the point of the combo.
 
Works on everyone
Depending on height of the airthrow, you may have to delay the falling jLK
Some people find falling jLP to be easier IIRC
 
that's not val specific you can do that on every light char with a micro dash before s.lp after pummel horse.
 
Oh man, I'm sorry.
All that time you could have used doing something else, instead of working on optimizing a combo that I had a similar version since forever and that is easier and more damaging :^(

I don't know. I didn't post it, that's for sure. Did you learn it from me or did you find it on your end?
 
Can you teach me how to do my 'special to Val' to other light characters?i can't do it.
It's hard, that's all.
s.lk juggle after devil horns must be done as soon as possible to ensure the char will fly high enough for the j.mp follow up.
After s.lk c.mk, devil horns may whiff on some chars with some s.lk timings, but just delaying slightly the devil horns will do the trick.
After pummel horse, micro dash s.lp to get in range. C.mk titan knuckle requires a special timing on most chars. Btw it doesn't need any delay on val only at that specific distance you ended up at. If you try it point blank, the link is actually impossible on val :p
In general, it is just not worth going for it, too hard/unreliable.
