"I DID IT" Gaming achievements/goals/triumphs

So I'm still trying to tackle all of the NES games on my to-do list, but it's been a rough journey. I just recently got the good ending in Mr. Gimmick! though, so that's something I'm pretty proud of. Man, that game is beautiful, but it's crazy! I just discovered it a few years ago from looking at screenshots, and I had no idea what I was getting into. If I had played it as a kid, I wonder if I could have even made it past the second level.

I also finally beat Vice: Project Doom, which a friend had recommended to me a long time ago. It was short and sweet, but the tougher parts definitely had me worked up for a while. I only wish the ending cutscenes were as cool as Ninja Gaiden's. I guess that was a tall order back then, though.

Now if I can find the time, I can finally go and finish Kickle Cubicle, Little Nemo, Kickmaster, and Faxanadu. Maybe after those I'll switch back to my Genesis list!

It says more about my obsession with the game rather than skill in this case, but this was the first time I have ever been, and probably only time I ever will be number 1 at any game. And I managed to keep that spot for almost 3 months.

There's a thread for gaming accomplishments? What a bunch of nerds! You people are pathetic, I would nev...er.... I'm a total trophy whore on PSN and I need help. I'm working towards 100 platinums without playing any crappy games. (Except for Killer is Dead, that game was awful... sorry Suda51, but you brought it upon yourself)

But my biggest gaming accomplishment is being put in Skullgirls, River King Casino for life.

Not really impressive achievements, but ones I am proud of.

Completed classic mode on very hard as Ganondorf on Smash Bros Brawl. Went in with three lives. I was never a good Ganondorf player because I always played a speed character, so this was quite the challenge. I played very carefully and managed to complete it without any continues. Never did anything like that again ever since.

Beating Earl in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. This was a very close race. To start off, I challenged myself to finish the game with the starting car. Hard as balls at some intervals, but Earl was the toughest. I am proud to say I finished the race by the skin of my teeth and stylishly. I was able to make a sick jump and land ahead of him by just a little bit.
