Quite new player and never played online: would you say that it is a bad idea to participate?

Tournament is for both newbies and experienced players. In Swiss system you don't get disqualified after losing to 2 opponents. Everyone plays 5 opponents (Some fight 4 if the number of entrants is uneven) and you continue playing until the end. The worst thing that could happen is you lose to all 5 opponents and you finish last. Other than that, you meet new players that may be your level or the more experienced ones that will push you to get better.

It's been ages since I played in the EU Skullbats, but now I've made the plunge to PC I'll be able to join!

Yeah, my excuse for losing now is I'm not used to all the Fortune and Filia changes.

I pick a personal theme for each Skullbats. Last week life was in plastic and it was fantastic.

What's that got to do with his Skullbats uploads?
I thought that statement implied (or hinted at) that he has "terrible" musical taste and likes to share it... that post wasn't meant to be too seriuos though.

At first I was irritated by the music (mainly because it wasn't skullgirls music, which I was expecting) but I then found it amusing. 'Nough said on my part about this...

Personally I just think of the music choice as a secret spice that gives the flavor volume

Well Skullgirls music is fantastic do not realy see the reason for change it.

Btw i will not be there this Sunday i have to work till 22.00 : \ (10 p.m.)
 
The game's soundtrack is top notch, no argument there. However, by this point we all know it by heart and I for one find it quite interesting to every once in a while experience a confrontation between Skullgirls and outside music, be it hype, lulzy or just generally different.

Especially a stream/recording is a good occasion for that seeing how the viewer, not taking an active part in the battle, is open to unexpected and refreshing audial stimuli that additionally engage his attention.

Can't lie, I like whenever my track choice arouses a reaction one way or another. I enjoy the commotion.

Too bad recordings from that particular tourney turned up so annoyingly jumpy at times. Oh well. I might or might not pick something pony-related for tomorrow. I also used to be indecisive but now I'm not sure.
 
Almost forgot to mention this. Tournament is starting in TWO hours, not one! Because of Winter Savings time, the tourney will be at 8pm GMT/9pm CET/10pm EET. Someone needs to correct the timer.
