So...
I was thinking about having the option for the player to join the Egrets...

And then I realised that would be great for the introductions of Parasoul, Molly, and Adam (Even though you already met him at the beggining)

So... Kinda sorta update...


Rabeye is almost done with his Valentine script!

And I have added in the option to get drafted to join the Egrets and put in the River King Casino!

Well whats the point of the casino...


Gambleing... If I can figure out how that works in renpy.

Oh, so the player starts the game without mentioning their job because they're currently unemployed. I get it. Probably moved to New Meridian because of the opportunity it promised. Not that that's really important or anything.

@Clothes: but wouldn't that take away the "specialness" of them actually putting something on because they wanted to? Like, I imagine that the "end" of courting Parasoul will be a meeting at the Glass Canopy, in which she wears the appropriately related attire. But I'm not the writer, so...eh.

I actully implemented a currency right now. So that brings us one step closer to doing this and the gambling thing that I'm trying to hope I can figure out...
 
Hello, hello. Like many others, I've been somewhat timidly watching events progress on this thread.
As the OP for our local fanfiction thread, I would like to pass along a piece of advice for your scriptwriters - Go to the Skullgirls section on fanfiction.net, and read as many OCxMain Character 'ships as you can. Read until your brain cries out in agony, then read more. It will be painful, but you need that pain. Feed on it, understand why certain approaches to romance fall flat, and why others may appeal more. It'll help you.

As long as the Black Egrets' recruitment office is open, there should be the option for the player to get indicted into the mob. Look, I haven't tried the game yet, but I'm not going to unless there's the promise of being able to trade playful witticisms with Black Dahlia over roasted oysters and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

Also I noted that you were asking for music for the Streets of New Meridian area? Why, is there something wrong with the ori... Ah, I see. In that case, could I suggest some of the tracks from the game Omerta: City of Gangsters? Have a listen:

And I started by making an option to ethier fight Painwheel with Valentine or Valentine with Painwheel..

It's kinda too bad that @chickenwithtie was the only artist was the only one who even agreed to help us and he has gave us nothing....

I don't know if the artist's like us or hate us...
 
If you haven't already, you could put a thread up in the art section of the forum and see if anyone bites, and do this on any other forums you might be a member of.

No, you won't. There are already pictures of every character you plan to feature. If you can't find one, copypaste a Kim Kardashian selfie. There is no reason you need art until the rest of the game is done. Once you have something to prove that this isn't a regular forum project that goes nowhere, then you can ask artists to make it look nice.
