I know Tanner was the one who made the comment about zelda that made me realize that I actually have a burning passion for the concept of a waifu, so I can hate him for that.

Reasons why Samus is probably the most misrepresented character in the history of everything #49.
Honestly, the last time I can remember seeing a picture where Samus was actually reasonably buff, it was actual literal pornography.

I say this as a fan of the Samus character and not in the objectification of muscular women.

1. I'm sure you can select platforms to be fall through if they're thin enough. Like her arms.

2. Yeah, that confuses me. Might just be for a picture, but it could also be a whole new Wii U only thing - like Pokemon Trainer was in Brawl. Maybe it's even a secret thing like holding Z or L to get it to happen a la ZSS in Brawl

I've been saying though.
Samus is part bird, why is this never acknowledged?! By like anyone, it's rife with comedic potential but every other joke I hear about Samus is just how hot she is and those not about how hot she is are about how she hates being objectified for being hot.
All valid subjects for comedy BUT SHE'S PART BIRD. AND THIS IS NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED.

Wait, she isn't biologically part bird. She was just raised by birds and then put into an ancient bird armor for birds and taught to curl up into a little bird-ball.

Biologically, she's human at the beginning of the series and part-Metroid part-X part-terrible-science-experiment-missmatch-oh-god-the-humanity by the end.

She did; official Metroid cannon is that she got bird-bits spliced into her dna after her parents got ate. That's why she can wear the power suit without her bones stopping their existence, and roll into a ball about a fourth of her size.

They gave it to her so she could become a warrior and have the armor at the age of 3.

But yeah at the start she's still like 90% human, by the end it's closer to 10%.

Yeah man.

It's sad how such an integral part of Samus' backstory isn't known by a lot of people because NO ONE EVER ACKNOWLEDGES IT.
But the Chozo were super into genetic engineering before they all died, there's a reason Samus jumps like she's on the moon in Zero Mission without a suit, and it's not because of cartoon physics.
 
Not to mention all the Phaazon in her blood.
Yeah that probably all got expunged from her after Corruption, but anything to get people to take her more seriously.

assimilate shit and copy their powers all X-like
 
Mission Log: Day 1

I, Doctor Sanity, have decided to brave the most dangerous and unknown space in the universe to seek the treasures I desire. In other words, Google Images and nonsexualized pictures of Zero Suit Samus focusing on anything but her body.

The journey so far has been excruciating, I can only fear in silent terror what may await me the farther I travel down.
Here's the only I've found so far of Samus being relatively muscular and nonsexualized.

My idea for the next 2D Metroid was to be a sequel to Fusion centered entirely around her trying to escape the Federation. Since you know, she ruined their Metroid cloning operations and made herself an enemy of the state and such.
We must find a way to combine these two ideas.
Maybe a stealth game where you can take on the form of Federation troopers and stab entire squads in the back.
