Perhaps they come from a lineage that is swore to serve her.
I can see this being the case. Eliza has lived long enough and maybe at some point realized that having people with mortal lifespans could enhance her cover. Not to mention having people to do the dirty work of organizing blood tributes donations so she doesn't have to get her hands...dirty.

That's actually really cool and believable Caio.

I wonder what kind of confidentiality agreement Horace and Albus had to sign though.
Probably the shortest NDA contract ever written. A single line in the middle of a piece of a paper:
Keep your mouths shut and I won't rip your heads off.

Is that really true?
Every playable character is a blood puppet conjured and controlled by Eliza. The whole thing is just a elaborate play she set up for her own amusement because she felt like it. #Elizagirls
Folks are already going nuts over Fukua's ending so might as well crank the Lynch up to eleven.:PUN:

Meanwhile...

That's a pretty hilarious pic, especially the way Albus is laying there heh.

1. One other thing about palettes for Eliza, I hope most of them have her with dark skin. Dark skinned females are rare in fighting games, and she is the only one in this game.

2. I like the idea suggested of various egyptian gods and goddesses lounging around in Eliza's stage.

Me too! She's insanely cute and seems to have a very fun gameplay. I like the Engineer inspiration

Maybe if no one is playing as her, Eliza can be chillin' in the background in this outfit.

I actually got an idea in my head that this animation might be for her intro to her own stage. I mean, why would she need to be carted around her own mansion? That's just excessive. She could be like "Tha fuck you doin in my bathhouse", switch outfits magically, and start the fight with the trespasser.

I wonder what Eliza will sound like. o.o I know it's jumping the gun a bit but that's one of the most exciting things.

Is there any information about the "chariot" animation?, I wonder if that is a super or a win pose.

I'm happy to see that the master race is getting some attention here.

I get what you mean. But Filia, Parasoul, Painwheel, Cerebella and (maybe) Ms. Fortune all have some really dark skinned palettes. It depends who they're referencing and, in the case of original colors, how good it looks.

That being said, I don't Big Band has a single palette where he is Caucasian, even his Dick Tracey palette. He is either has dark skin or inhuman skin in every palette. Why? Maybe because he just wouldn't work as a white guy or maybe because the team wanted to respect him as the only black character or maybe coincidences.

But I don't see that happening with Eliza, even her proposed palettes are references to fair-skinned ladies* or deathly pale vampiric women. If she is going to have any palettes that keep her skin dark it'll be in 'original colors' as opposed to reference palettes. (I don't mind varying shades, sometimes Parasoul's skin is pinkish, sometimes she's super pale.)

*Still hoping for Ragyou Kiryuin so bad! (Especially after seeing psychedelic rainbow rave Eliza)

That looks REALLY good! And I mean that one two levels. Firstly it looks authentic enough to be real (Where's it from by the way?) and secondly,WOW ELIZA IS HOT!

Mariel drew it for shits and giggles.

Where's our Drunk Parasoul/ Tomar voice pack? In fact just make a drunk voice pack for every character in the game.

Bella and Fortune are crying in a corner right now.

1. Bella seems Italian/Mediterrean. Fortune just seems to have a good tan, Fukua too...other than having naturally dark skin. Eliza is naturally darker skinned.

2. I do understand some other characters have one or two dark skinned palettes, and I wouldn't mind a few white palettes. However I feel most should keep her dark skin, there are a lot of Egyption references that can be used.

Cerebella is confirmed to be the Skullgirls equivalent of Brazilian and Ms. Fortune is confirmed to be the Skullgirls equivalent of Latino. I'm not sure what Eliza is supposed to be.

Ugh, I fucking hate it when people mistake naturally dark skinned people for just being tanned.

...Wouldn't Eliza be the equivalent of Egyptian?
My closest guess would be Nubian, but considering this is Skullgirls I'd just say that she's just ambiguously brown.

Latina.
The -a specifies a gender.
Aren't Brazilians also considered latino/a?

Latino refers to both men and women and Latina refers to only women. I don't like to use Latina because it is both unnecessary and it sounds weird coming out of my mouth. If you want me to be more specific than Latino then I would say that Ms. Fortune looks Cuban.

I wonder if Cuban counts as Latino as well?

Yeah it is, but now that I think about it Latino is far too broad a term to use.

I remember before the game came out, I kinda wanted them to give Ms. Fortune an Australian accent, since I imagined her as being like an Aboriginal cat-person.

Actually, I guess a part of me is kind of curious if Eliza might have an accent. It'd be cool if they hired an Egyptian actress with an authentic one.

Does it really?
Fuck, now I look stupid.

I mean, I was just saying-
You know I really don't know where I was going with that post.

I have a lot of regrets right now.
