I'm wondering if Sekhmet's return move (any two kicks) cnd be registered as a command move. This Might give Eliza more combo potential then she was designed to have but if that not an issue it could be neat. It would allow for Sekhmet to return to Eliza faster thus more Sekhmet to Eliza combos!

No one has mentioned her assists yet i dont think... So wow... Sek as an assist doesnt drain meter!!!! (Is this kinda dumb?) has infinite armor and can be an overhead or... Qcb +mp crazy ass invulnerable lockdown assist.


So yeah... This probably turns Eliza into a straight up anchor. I cant tell how good qcb plus mp sek is yet... It IS very slow to come out. But its got to be at least an upper midtier assist, maybe even one of the best assists in the game right now if one can find really good places for it.

Oh, we all knew. I can't speak for everyone else, but I was hoping no one would use it till she gets released and I get a a week or two of making people rage

Fun fact: in the current beta version, if you win a round of 1v1 as Sekhmet, you cannot reenter Eliza's body during the VSAV turnover between rounds, but the meter keeps ticking

Yeah, i just looked at that and it isnt nearly as good as i first thought... Go go training mode hitboxes and 10% speed.

It looks like the startup on the move as an assist is atleast 6-8 frames before sek comes out. Basically that is like almost double or triple the vulnerable startup on lk bomber.

Still though, it is invulnerable. But i do really like its vulnerable startup... Unlike the 2 frames of startup on updo/pillar/fiber... The super long startup on this looks like a much better balance. I'll be using this more for frame traps and protecting specials than as a gtfo/way in.

Its still freaking awesome though.
 
I know everyone was 'gasming over her c.HK as an assist on page 1 and her Sekhmet assists on this page, but I think there's something to be said about the potential use of some her normals as lockdown/combo extender assists. Her s.MK is multi-hit, has some decent speed and priority, and is very disjointed. Many of her other moves have these same qualities, but I don't have a PC so I don't know which of them can be completely done off of a single button press.

so Sekhmet is really fun to use and all, but I'm sorta torn apart here, its definitely not worth it to just do a long combo with sekhmet for slightly higher damage than a normal combo since youll waste about 3 meter or so. So I would assume theres an optimal ratio of comboing with eliza and using sekh for extra damage (i suppose early in the combo for those hard hitting axes). So i tried my hand at finding some good spots in a combo to summon sekh, but im having trouble since she build heavy meter with everything and mostly uses up your otg, so lets theorycraft here a little bit, what do you think would truly enhance elizas combo damage, when should you use sekhmet?

I think at the beginning and as a punish since Sek deals so much undizzy and damage. This would probably be the most bang for the buck.
 
something like first chain xx axe axe into wall bounce -> back to Eliza seems pretty good
as a punish, isn't sekhmet summon kinda slow? only for on guard supers or stuff like that then.
 
sek sMP might work as punish, has the least startup i believe and you can cancel into HP after the first hit so it wont scale as much

also @Mr. X i thought as much, its good that sekhmet doesnt build undizzy and function as an extension of the chain, so I suppose you should bring her out after the first and the last chain, thanks

Just had a set with Fizzxwizz with both of us using muda assist. This thing is so legit, Mike please let us keep it.
 
Seeing that double thing, two players making the Albus assistant move at the same time will be neat.
 
Woah, holy shit.
I know my finger hurts from mashing and I'm pretty sure my medium punch button is now worn out, but... If Mike did a little coding magic, I'm sure he can make it so if two Skehmet's hit each other with their medium attacks it does a mashing mini game just like in those Bandai DBZ games.
