Sorry for the double post but since it's been a day or two I wanted to see if anyone came up with a new meterless/j.H sekhmet summon only bnb using the new divekick. I'm guessing chain > divekick > s.hp > etc
wait, it is on the beta already? Mine hasn't updated.
 
Ummmmm I'm not seeing any new patch notes posted so don't think the update is out.

Squigly : the 5MK is hard to hit, it works but you may want to use 2MK instead for consistency.

Double: need to do j.HP xx 214HP on the first jump then recall on landing and skip to the sweep. Unfortunately she is a combination of too small and heavy so she bounces REALLY far away, you can do the combo normally up until after the upper knats following sweep, then the j.MP will whiff.

This does slightly less damage but it is a pretty easy alteration to make.

EDIT2: Ok getting it consistently on Bella now. Do 2MP MP xx 236MK really fast and it should work. As in press MK before the second hit of 2MP even happens, seems that it just requires fastest timing from the second hit and this consistently works.

EDIT: Manage to hit it on Bella now... occasionally. not QUITE sure what makes it work or not but delaying a LOT after the first 2MP and then IMMEDIATELY doing MP xx 236MK seems to be the best you can do. Still only lands like 1 in 6 or so times =S

Can't get the 2MP MP xx 236MK on Bella either it seems, for some reason. I can hit this outside the combo not sure why I can't in the combo.

@Tomo009 videoozzzzz I needz the videozzz. Also I thought you already made a 7.7ker...what is the point of this? Is it to gain a lot of meter....? Or...is it able to be done from anywhere? (Guessing not since it uses wallbounce which is kinda finicky).

I must be missing something...

Hi.


Some things of note:
  • The first combo is almost universal, you need to change all instances of s.HKHK to s.HPHPHP against Big Band. The second is a more damaging modification against lightweights that also slips a mid-combo taunt in.
  • LK Summon is now the fastest animation Eliza has for canceling cr.HK early, if you really want the oki.
  • Midscreen, some characters may only get caught by the Sweep->DP->TK Dive chain if you only use HP-DP instead of MPHP-DP.
  • I've yet to manage the timing to recreate it, but at one point after the divekick setup near the corner, i caught Ms. Fortune as low as possible with sj.HPHK, canceled to LP-Sekhmet, and caught Fortune on the bonus frame of landing recovery hitstun with j.MP to continue the combo.

Only works (barely) in the corner on Double or Big Band, and the TK'd DP is technically a single-move chain so unless you start with it you hit IPS. You do more damage with other things in the corner anyways.
 
Combo idea on lights. Apparently you can save otg against lights after H Sekhmet thingy > Recall > H Dp...

Does more damage than the typical starter. but idk WTF to do after.

After any jump-cancelable move (normal or special), you can input a jump, and cancel the jump startup with any special/super. This makes the follow-up special count as a new chain on its own because you technically recovered from the jump-cancelable move.

Honestly, it makes sense and I'm completely ok with Sekhmet as she is now. I wasn't expecting to get the extra combo potential with recall as special, so it would feel strange to complain. She still gets basically identical damage to before from the same situations anyway.

EDIT: Except at high dizzy and her high dizzy damage was LUDICROUS so I think it was a good change.

Well, I guess I'll have to come up with something, because I think claiming "optimised" this early is just plain silly.

How much damage are you getting from your midscreen combo? I'm only getting 7.2k from the character universal starter (ie. HP HP xx 623MP HP instead of HP HP HP xx 623HP)

I'm going to assume you mean what is my damage when following through different paths from the Fortune starter in the vid I posted...
  • The starter isn't universal, but i've confirmed it to work on Valentine, Squigly, Fortune, and most easily Parasoul so far. It gets 7707 damage thanks to the lesser undizzy letting me slip in an s.LK before the first cr.MK in your combo, and finishing with s.HPHP HK-Spin instead of HPHPHP HP-Upper.
  • Alternatively you can trade some damage to get more corner carry by instead picking up off the divekick with delayed j.HP airdash j.MP(restand)j.HP to ender (7505)
  • Better yet, you can catch a deep j.HK airdash j.LK delayed j.MP, land LK-Spin then your midscreen ender for even more carry and better damage (7621).
  • Best case scenario, you time things perfectly so that the above j.LK restands them and you can hit j.MK instead, and you didn't go corner-to-corner so the rest carries you far enough to the other corner for the full s.LPx3 MKx2 HPx3 HK-Spin ender (7881).

I do HP HP HP xx 623HP for the setup, not the damage.

You can jump and go for a few things off it. It's kinda like an oki setup just from a launch. Especially effective against characters with poor air options, you can be right on top of them before they recover.

I actually meant the other one, though haha, the one you performed on Big Band. It is universal if you change the starter slightly.

Proof of concept, I'm fairly certain the last summon can be avoided, and would work a lot better with an assist, but I was just seeing if I could actually do a combo using all three summons and Eliza.

 
Anyone have a good combo for when you're not in the corner, but close enough for 214HP to wallbounce the opponent out of range for cr.HK combo stuff?

If you see a blue bounce mark it can be avoided, period.
You can do s.MP->s.HPx3->L Summon and it'll work.

I know, I'm doing this on propose, I know you don't like seeing these types of combos. You even went out of your way to personally tell me to stop using excerebella early on in combos because of the scaling. So I made the stupidest video possible with Eliza ( who would ever use HK A Train assist right after Hk servant summon?! Who?! ) in the attempt that you would come across it. This combo does 4.3k without the supers it's stupid. Heck I even slapped Annie in there for you. I am a joker I will fool around for seer intent for self-entertainment. Hate me or not i will still do it. but here is some thing a little more serious.

Here's some teamwork with BB and Eliza. And in the corner the tag out isn't BB specific it can be done with other characters, Parasoul might have problems converting and Cerebella does a hard knock down due to her tag in, but what the hey.
