Smashboards are going nuts trying to figure out Tactican's mechanics.

The character looks very interesting, I like the newcomers this time around.

They are also going crazy over the landing recovery on Lucina's nAir being 12 frames instead of whatever absurd amount Marth's was.

Not just Marth's nAir, but a Melee L-Canceled Marth's nAir. Some people think they just drastically reduced all landing lag from feedback at E3.

A melee l cancelled nAir is 7 frames, this is 12. That's close to double a Melee Marth nAir.

A NON l cancelled melee Marth nAir would be like 14 or 15 frames though? So it is faster than that.

EDIT: Hmm apparently Robin didn't get the same, they are assuming it is just Lucina with the faster recovery.

They are comparing Lucina's nAir as one of the fastest moves in the game with some of the slowest like Ganons 12 frame recovery l cancelled dAir lol

Goddammit this character is so cool. I've never been a fan of ammo characters but Robin is shaping up to be my favorite newcomer.
 
From the sound of things, I think it's gonna be kinda-sorta-not-really like Vaan's weapon switching mechanic from FF Dissidia Duodecim; Using a special makes that element's tome appear, and it influences your normals that don't use just the Levin/Bronze Sword until you either use a different special or the weapon decay kicks in and Robin has to toss the tome.

EDIT: Oh, I guess Robin's damage meter will also have weapon decay counters for the sword and the currently equipped tome?

Someone on Smashboards just pointed out that Female Robin's Bronze Sword glowing here is most likely our indicator on when your next Smash Attack will resummon the Levin Sword.

Yep, I'm definitely using Robin.
Wanted them since I started Awakening but now I definitely just gotta play them.
Love how you gotta plan things out and be strategic.
Fitting for someone of the Tactician Class, no?

Mid air Smash Attacks blow my mind, but it makes me wonder what C-sticking will do mid-air - aerials or air smashes?

Also one of the strongest (if not the strongest in the game) and even though she is rather boastful and self-absorbed she is right 97% of the time so it's hard to argue. (the only thing she seems to not comprehend is human behavior so she resorts to Stalking "watching" people [namely mages like artur])
Also she of all the other Sacred Stone characters got more screen time than most in the DLCs (like one or two lines more but for a non-important/non-lord character it is impressive)

So I was watching this

Does anyone recognize the remixed songs? They sound familiar and im ashamed I dont immediately remember them. I hear the new main theme, how to play, the melee theme(?), the brawl theme, then the brawl menu?????? help me im confused

Good thing that Smash Bros. was my jam back in the 64 era that was the main theme

I think you're spot on. I got SSB4 Theme, How to Play, Melee Theme, another Melee Theme (it sounds different enough from the one before it that I think it's another seperate remix), Brawl Theme, and Brawl Menu.
