Street Fighter V

he has a gem in his face sooo gem system confirmed, also good bye ugly yellow EX flash hello pretty character specific effects

I enjoy the combo potential.

Also, this looks cool...

It's crazy to think each character could have a unique power up and different amounts of meter...

*patiently waiting for footage of the live match to watch on repeat*
EDIT: welp...
So 1 bar is Shinku and 2 bars is Denjin(?)
Not called Ultras/Supers, but CA? Counter Arts?

But he said Shinku, and that just took 1 bar of the Revenge meter. Unless his Denjin Mode makes it a Denjin Hadoken

I mean, maybe we have multiple Ultra's? I mean there has been choices on that since what SFIII?

Looks like your Revenge bar has 2 charges, and dependent on if the second part is full or not = super or ultra?

it had that in SFIV also it has to do with increased damage past the mark

I know it did, but that was just more power for the Ultra. What I'm saying is it actually changes the move to either be the super or the ultra.

When I heard about the 500k all I could think about was: "Man, I could have used that money to get D.Violet." =/
Better win Capcom Cup 2015 then. :PUN:

Ryu's regular fireball is two hits now, or is it strenght based like Akuma's alternate fireballs looks like it

edit also no more chip out deaths yasss

But do you see those P1 and P2 markers above Ryu and Chun-Li's heads?

Could we be seeing the return of SFxT's 4-player shenanigans?
Please let this be legit.

Looks like it's strength-based. It was both one hit and two hits in the live match

They do this in the arcades so players will know who is who.

Just wanna leave this here.....

you'd think that
there would be some other factors in that
like perhaps
the characters
or in the event of the same character
the palette

Darn so much for that... Still I think it is a great concept to implement here. It can carry over well, but then there are "balance" issues.

hopefully Charlie's return also gives way to the return of the greatest weeaboo in fighting games
god I love Sodom. yes, I know he's not actually a weeaboo.
I think if SFV takes place after or during the Era of Third Strike, there is plenty of room to welcome old (and maybe even new) fighters. IMO More unique Fighters people are familiar with from Third Strike days would grant a larger audience. That, or I am just wishing on Q.

Wow,
I cannot believe they put Albert Wesker in Street Fighter V, and gave him a glowy forehead gem no less (clearly the work of ouroboros).
They should probably work on the glass texture though, those look more like eyeglasses than sunglasses.
