No, Releasing G AND Sagat the Day After EVO is how you sell a Season Pass! Sagat's Stage King's Arena is just Fightmoney/real cash extra incentive.

Problem-X has Slain Tokido's Akuma with Dictator sending the EVO Title to the UK for a Year. Spooky has Freed all of us watching be we in the Arena or on the stream somewhere...and Capcom Cup is Still 3 Months away. Who knows what will come from Capcom between now and then.

Until we find out, I'ma gonna go sleep. 16 Hours of Stream Watching and all those ups and downs has tired me out.
 
As a new character, G has a unique move set that utilizes his role as the “President of the World” and his mysterious origins. During a fight, his Presidentiality level can be seen next to the V-Gauge in the form of an icon representing the Earth. By using G Charge, G absorbs power from the Earth to increase his Presidentiality level to 3. The higher his Presidentiality level is, the more powerful his special moves are. However, if G is knocked down, the Presidentiality level will go down.
G’s special moves and their properties during level 3 Presidentialilty are as follows:

G Smash Over: A quick lunging punch that sends a citizen of Earth flying

  • Level 3 Presidentiality: Two hits that causes a wall bounce
G Smash Under: Quick lunging punch that hits low and causes knockdown

  • Level 3 Presidentiality: Two hits that also cause knockdown
G Burst: A downward molten projectile

  • Level 3 Presidentiality: The projectile now splashes upon hitting the ground, which sends magma at an upwards angle
G Spin Kick: G twists his body in the air and kicks the opponent at a downward angle

  • Level 3 Presidentiality: Now gains projectile invincibility
G Impact: A command grab that launches citizens of Earth and can be followed up by several special moves.

  • Level 3 Presidentiality: A multi-hit command grab that also launches opponents
Message to the People: G delivers a speech meant to unite all citizens of Earth. During this speech, G gains EX Gauge, but is left vulnerable to attacks. Presidentiality has no effect on this glorious speech.
Using G Charge by itself leaves G vulnerable to attacks from citizens of Earth. However, G can cancel certain special moves into G Charge to safely increase his Presidentiality.
This actually sounds pretty fucking cool.
Take a look at G’s Story Costume, which may resemble another man of mystery.

I really hope the V-Trigger that lets me cancel specials into specials is full Max Mode/Hyper Drive shit and not just one time per string.

I really love playing G he's a lot of fun

also shocked at how true to his character Sagat is, mad props to them for actually keeping a character the way people like them.

So, Street Fighter 1 Sagat has been added to Fighter's Chance lootboxes as a separate drawing from the Cammy one that is about to rotate out. It also has EX 6 and EX 7 Colors added to it for characters.

I unlocked Dolla' Bill green G, and if I learn to use him that's gonna be my color for him. Also will be his color of the rumored Arcade Edition General Story we are rumored to get, unless we get a really interesting costume before then.
 
I don't usually enjoy watching SFV gameplay, but G seems to be turning out pretty great. I hope he gets some showings in tourneys in the future.

And someone better make a G-Q conversion for saltybet/mugen. The message of the power of earth needs to be seen on all platforms.

Though I don't think Menat needed both the Kahalbit Costume AND the Felicia Costume. Cammy or R. Mika would have benefitted better there for Felicia.

Kage is basically Evil Ryu sans Ryu.
Ryu's manifestation of the Satsui No Hadou has manifested as a separate fighter ala Omen (And Shadow Jago), and honestly I kinda like that idea to separate him from Ryu and keep Evil Ryu without making it sound confusing.
 
amazing how the only thing they had to do to make Evil Ryu interesting was appeal to my oni fetish
he looks bonkers so daigo and tokido can finally play the game they want to

Maximilian Dood has pointed out that Kage is actually Oni + Evil Ryu, they mixed together into the embodiment of the Satsui No Hadou, even though it's particularly formed from Ryu.
So, Oni's out, but we get this much more interesting interpretation of the Satsui itself without doubling down on clone characters again.
