Street Fighter III Third Strike

So, uhh... I just got this game a few days ago and I gotta say it's lots of fun. I find it more enjoyable than some of the other fighters I've played recently.

Yo who changed the title of my thread :)
I was being funny and clever :(

also people on fightcade hit me up

I downloaded this masterpiece as a cdi file then played on an emulator(nullDC) but the versus option is not avaiable, is there a way to play this by using LAN?

just use fightcade dude

I finally downloaded the correct files. Today I did some matches with random people and won a match (out of 7 lel) Please add me on steam if you are eager to teach.

Anyone mainly play on PC? What do you use for training mode? The PS2 version of 3S is decent but if your PC ain't that great you will get some slowdowns.

I can't get Dreamcast emulators running without it being 10FPS (And I can't be bothered with trial and error to get it right unless someone has a guide and/or know a good emulator as there's a handful) and MAME is bothersome to set up. (Also it's not real training, just cheats)

Yeah training mode on PC is hard to get working.... I'm lucky cause I have the actual dreamcast version with a DC fight stick so I would not imagine not being able to train lol

you can probably find an 3rd strike .ini file and just enable cheats for infinite time, meter and health and just press P2 Start.

ggs ken I'm mad rusty lol been playing SG way to long

O haha alright. Just hit me up when you shake that rust off I guess. Hit me up for questions too.

Anyone else wanna play later or this week?

@joshb911 Do you finally have your PC fixed so that I can play you on fightcade? Want to play less SG, more 3S, and be a little happier with life.

@keninblack how often will you be on fightcade? That way I can start an agenda.

If anyone wants to learn this game or needs help with MU's please hit me up I wanna help.
I would love to learn, and am gladly willing to put effort in but I'm practically a beginner so I don't know that you would want to bother.

play chun li
No... I will not subject myself to playing a great character. I've played Q in the past and I'm sticking with him, it's just that... well I thought that there are some more setups and stuff I can learn other than the simple juggle combos that I can pull off with Q.

With out meter i just link lks into hk and then either do a light rush punch to close the gap and setup for a command grab or I taunt.

With meter just link into an ex rush punch, do s.lp reset into mk command grab or back hk into mp rush punch or mk rush sweep. idk...

look Q was the reason why I play Big Band today I've got to honor him.

If you want pretty combos play Yang, Dudley or Urien

Everyone else, poke into super except Makoto who is a walking 50/50

I'm oversimplifying

yeah, you kinda are... but also I understand what you're getting at. But damn it Q-Chan is so cool when he brushes off his coat when parrying a fireball, and he isn't afraid to body little children who get in his way. so cool.
