Even without announcements, new info on stuff is just as hype.

Except Mario Golf. That game has nothing going for it for me, like Mario Tennis did.

No, it's not. It's not even likely they mention Smash in this ND.

It's very likely.

If there's ever a Nintendo Direct there's a chance of them at least talking a bit about Smash.

And if they don't we have January to look forward to.

Even without Smash Bros reveals we get motherfucking Mario Kart 8 news (And probably Kirby Triple Deluxe)
Which is a gift on it's own.

The point was that January directs tend to be the most hype since they come with the most reveals, as they tend to forget about the "coming this quarter" thing. Last year we got X, Pokemon X and Y, SMTxFE, and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't even remember off the top of my head.

Oh wow! I just noticed that detail!

In the pic for today, I noticed what I thought was a clipping issue on toad's body. I was like "uh-oh, is that clipping? tsk tsk" but looking closer, it's actually a leaf, and there's others like to the left of Peach and within the bow of Link. There'll be some sort of leaves falling during matches. Small details like that amuse me.

A. Returning Veteran that's worthy of a short video (Snake or Mewtwo)
B. Newcomer
C. Short trailer with a lot of new stuff

By the way, never try to use Toad against Ness and Lucas's forward smash. Their forward smashes reflect projectiles, and Toad's spores count as a projectile. So you'll just end up getting hit by your own counter.
