A minor interface bug: Painwheel levelled up here but the blue bar indicating XP gain gets stuck at full instead of resetting to show the new XP requirement.

While we on the topic of XP. I think it would be more helpful to have some sort of indicator that shows the exact number of XP needed per level for both the characters and the player. After every fight it shows the exact value of how much XP you gained but this feels like pointless info if there's no bar or something that tells you the total XP requirement per level.

The soft launch version (1.1.1) is like the 80% completed version of the full game. Some features still show "coming soon", there are some obvious bugs, and performance has much room for improvement. But it is pretty fun and more accessible than the PC version. I can't wait until they add Eliza, she's my fave character.

Not sure if this is a bug or a work in progress or design oversight. I noticed opponents in Quick Play won't ever have a total fighter score above ~12K, which makes it really boring and harder to level up my really strong gold characters. As you can see they have a combined FS of nearly 17K and winning a fight against a 9K opponent gives very little EXP. what I end up doing is make a team with a gold, silver, and bronze to bring down the total FS but even so the most XP I get is +20% for being an underdog. Also I have a suggestion to add more difficulties to quick play, like tougher AI and fight modifiers like the ones in events that actually feels challenging.
 
Bronze characters evolved to silver doesn't actually count as silver characters. Winning fights with a silver Bad Hair Day Filia doesn't add to the completion of daily missions that require you to win fights using a silver character. Also in the Skill Tree, the character name still shows up as bronze instead of silver. I think the same bug also effects silver characters evolved to gold or bronze characters evolved to gold.

For levelling up, bronze characters get +1 character point, silver +2, and gold +5. I noticed that bronze characters evolved to silver still gets +1 and not +2. I think silver ones evolved to gold is similarly bugged and only gets +2 CP.

Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots, but I just picked up the Canadian soft launch. Playing story mode, I did a dash attack with default Painwheel and she dash forward, turned into something vaguely resembling missingno, then went back to normal before I completely lost control of her (she just stood there, I could still tag in Cerebella, and it worked fine when I tagged her back in).

The "Elemental Asylum" mission was bugged and I wasn't making any progress despite using 3 fire characters.

When I tapped on the X this error message popped up.

Then when I got out of a fight the elemental asylum mission was replaced by this other bugged mission.
 
Got the missingno glitch again, this time it's Parasoul and the first time I seen her being affected by it (typically it's Filia or Cerebella). Not sure what caused it but if it helps I was switching between apps like Safari, Photos, and Tweetbot. (iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.1)

To clarify, the glitch I got was like that, not the random grey fuzzy pixels like other people have had.

I was actually just thinking about this, and I'm 90% sure that's intentional. You see, if you maxed out your game and every one of your characters was gold, the "Bronze only" and "Silver Only" missions would be impossible otherwise.

I doubt anyone will ever max out their game unless they spend insane amounts of money buying Theonites. The part that doesn't make sense about it being intentional is how the character's stats are all improved by evolving, and their card is turned into silver or gold but they still get the same amount of skill points as their old tiers.

I understand this, however keep in mind that the prices in stat points and gold don't increase when you evolve. Personally, i think the only issue is a clarity oversight that doesn't signify rarity. Maybe HiddenVar should just add an extra skull instead of making the card silver.

Hopefully the hard launch will have some sort of info page that explains EVERYTHING
 
So, I have just experienced one of the strangest bugs. Moving my Sheltered Parasoul to the selection area crashes the game. I can equip her by switching her with another character, but moving her tile refuses to work.
EDIT: i first observed this bug with Parasoul, but it seems to affect the last card in the selection.
This bug may be unrelated, but I also had to get rid of a move that Parasoul refused to equip, every time I did I got a network error. I know this was not the case, as i was able to use her Skill Tree as normal.

One final thing to take into account, be wary of Parasoul's tagline. we all remember the last time that Juju was mentioned.
 
I tried the same thing, my game doesn't crash but there's a very noticeable stutter when dragging Parasoul's card. Playing on an iPhone 6s though so performance varies depending on your device.

This stage sometimes has a weird thick black outline for all characters, I haven't seen it happen in any other stage.

The info pane that comes up when you tap and hold on certain stages with fight modifiers and conditions has too many effects sometimes and you can't even scroll down on the ones cut off by the screen. Also the detailed info for each section only comes up if you tap and hold on them. The details disappear right away when you lift your finger off the section, I think it's supposed to be just a tap to show and a tap anywhere to dismiss.

I apologize if someone has mentioned this already. I had a situation where I bought 5 relics for 500 theonite, but was charged 1000 theonite for it. Next 5 I was charged 500, but I was absolutely for sure charged 1000 for 5 premier relics.

In some levels where characters are affected by permanent bleed, it's possible to fully resist the bleed effect at the start of the match. Not sure if this is intended or a bug.

Hey folks! Thanks for the bug reports. All of this is tremendously helpful. We will definitely keep your notes in mind as we continue to work on Skullgirls Mobile. Given the realities of game development, we can't always tackle every issue, but I promise we're listening! As Oprah once said*, "we want Skullgirls Mobile to live it's best life!“


... and while I have your attention, I wanted to share some bug reporting best practices! (slick segue, right?):


1) Include instructions on how to reproduce the bug. "Bob's launcher doesn't work" is helpful. "Bob's launcher whiffs on Tom" is helpfuller. But the helpfullest? "Playing as 'Hair on Fire Bob,' I triple tapped into a launcher against 'Three-day Weekend Tom.' All hits connected but Tom wasn't knocked up into the air."


2) Supplemental screenshots and videos. A lot of you already do this! But redundancy/repetition helps me get the message across! So I’ll say it again: we love videos and images!


3) Device and OS details. "Game frequently freezes on my an iPhone 7 on iOS10” vs “Game frequently freezes… I’m playing on a potato.” These details enable us adeptly isolate and tackle issues.

Sorry I have no screenshots - I'm kind of in a crazy rush but wanted to get in a quick report:

On the Equip Skills screen:
To equip a skill we're supposed to tap a skill, then tap Equip. However, if instead of tapping I try and drag any of the skills on the right-side window the game will crash. I'm pretty sure these items are not supposed to be dragged at all, and they don't visibly move when I drag them. The game just crashes.

This doesn't seem to happen on all devices, but is repeatable on my Galaxy A8 and a friend's Tegra K1 tablet.

This second bug has only happened once, and I haven't been able to repeat it because of what I have unlocked.

A Random Select Bronze AI Parasoul used her Yawn attack and the game immediately crashed. I have not run into another Parasoul with that attack, and I haven't unlocked her yet, so I don't know if it was a once off, or repeatable yet. I'll keep an eye out.

I got a notification on my phone dash telling me that the Painwheel event had begun, but upon logging into the game it says there's still 8 hours of Big Band left.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but I remember this was an issue in the beta too: AI Big Band's Tympany Drive super seems to be completely unblockable. Every time he activates it, regardless of which character I am, or when I start blocking it will hit me, knock me down and then hit me again when I stand back up.

re: the bug mentioned above where dragging Parasoul's card causes the game to crash.
This is not specifically Parasoul. If you you try and drag any card to the top right of the screen (where the opponent's characters appear) the game will crash.
This seems to be the same kind of crash as when I try to drag Specials and Blockbusters. There's the same sudden cutout of sound, then the sound turns back on for a second, then the whole game crashes.

Not a bug exactly, but more of a Quality of Life issue.
On some matches there are restrictions on what characters you can use. There's little icons at the top of the screen that let you know what these restrictions are. Tapping and holding this icon will give a text explanation of the restriction.
This is great, except on my phone (Galaxy A8), which has quite a large screen as far as phones go, it's very difficult to actually read what the rule text is. The finger holding the button covers most of the text.

Also, holy crap there are so many push notifications in this game. Half of them are notifying me of stuff that doesn't exist like character events. Sometimes it tells me multiple times about the same event.

That mission is bugged and can't be claimed. I've seen it a couple of times too.
 
It's clearly just a test mission to see what a maximum length text string would look like :P
Still definitely needs to be removed!
 
Welcome Pack not appearing in the store for me. (Canadian App Store, iPhone 6s on iOS 10.3.1) I started playing around the same time when the welcome pack was disabled, maybe that had something to do with it?

Not really a bug, but rather an optimization issue. There is notable and massive slowdown on my BLU R1 HD (medium-class Android phone) when using Valentine's Dead On Arrival.
I have some filters on-screen, hence the dark video (sorry :/), but I can confirm it acts the same without them.

Used dead on arrival to beat a team, and ran out of time while doing so. Apparently using DoA does not stop the timer. Seeing as it couldn't decide who won, or that the other side couldn't play thier winning animation, the game softlocked.

The daily event Elemental Asylum seems to have either an oversight or a bug. You can get the achievement by winning 1v1s using a fire character, same for 2v2's. You don't need to play a 3v3 with all fire Characters on your side like the achievement says.
Also, not sure, but considering I don't think I've played 10 matches with full fire Characters, it may count even if you only have one fire character.

This "missingno" graphical bug happened again. When the level was loading I got a notification and I swiped down to open notification centre to check it. When I got back Cerebella looked like this.

Sometimes when opponents are stunned by Excellebella, it will trigger their stunned animation despite still being held up by Vice Versa. It just looks weird since Vice Versa's arm is still raised as if still holding them. I couldn't grab a screenshot of this since iOS likes to have a huge delay when taking screenshots so just use your imagination.

I also noticed when this glitch happens, Excellebella does considerably less damage because it does less hits. Normally Excellebella does a total of 8 hits, when the glitch happens it does a total of 4, 5, 6 or 7 hits. The missing hits result in less total damage. The glitch doesn't happen when the opponent is stunned upon the first hit of Excellebella.

So.. has this happened to anyone yet? Not sure if I can duplicate but I was goofing with the collection and I got a Parasite Weave Filia. Since I dono a thing about the rarities, I loaded up my cellphone (this was from my tablet) to look at Bad Hair Day Filia. I went "huh, ok" then closed the game. Went back to the tablet and changed to the Bad Day to remove a skill and got a message that it would go back to the title screen, which it didn't and this happened. Even the "MissingNo." effect happens where Filia will attack (with audio) along with Painwheel. Kind of amusing really.

Also not sure if reported but the game keeps crashing if I try to drag and drop a special move

Aye. Happens to me too.

I finally unlocked Parasoul's Yawn special and can confirm that (on my Galaxy A8 at least) it will cause a crash 100% of the time when I or the opponent uses it. Any time I see a Parasoul with it I have to make sure to kill her without her ever having a chance to trigger a special move or I risk the game crashing.

The startup of the animation is fine. When she gets to the peak of the yawn (where I'm assuming the stat boosts are applied) the game freezes, the audio cuts out and restarts again, then the game crashes.
 
I'm starting to get random crashes with Hairball, which didn't happen yesterday =\ (Samsung Galaxy 3)

Also another thing that's been bothering me is if you do an air combo in the corner, when your char lands, they won't accept any attack commands and just block (Special, Block Buster, back dash, grab still works). Doesn't always happen, but sometimes it does.

Lastly, While Tuba Tuba is playing, if you queue up a special attack (tap an icon like Cymbal Crash), it'll put the Special attack on cool down after Tuba Tuba finishes without using the skill.

Not sure if this was a bug or an intended feature, I got matched against an opponent in Quick Play with the exact same Fighter Score and characters as me. This is surprising because 99% of the time I get matched against teams with FS ranging from 9-12K when my team is around 16-20K. Didn't manage to grab a screenshot because of the quick 3 second countdown before the fight starts and the stupid delay iOS has for taking screenshots. But I did manage to screenshot the post match XP rewards.

The opponents also had the exact same moves equipped as my team.

I ain't complaining because the XP rewards are great and the fight is somewhat more challenging now. Curious as to why it happens sometimes and not always. (Update: the XP rewards look like a lot but they're actually very tiny since the blue XP bar shows very minimal gains when compared to fighting a team of 11.7K FS)

There's a glitch with Quick Play where you can re-roll the opponents you face to get ones with higher or lower FS. After tapping on Fight, just tap on any of your character's names and it will bring up the screen where you can see her Info/Stats/Equip. Then tap on the back arrow and the countdown will be stopped and you can tap fight to get a new set of opponents. I kept doing this a bunch of times and most of the times I got different opponents. Rarely it will glitch out and make me face my own characters with the exact same fighter scores and moves, winning that fight gives huge amounts of XP. And rarely it will put me against unknown opponents that turns out to be really weak and I get literally no XP from winning. Sometimes a box pops up saying session expired or something and takes me back to the login screen and makes the game log in again.

Ok. Making sure. Yeah, mine's locking up when I open the Relics page. As soon as it loads, it scrolls the movie reel on the right for a second then it freezes. First time's it did that since I started... Samsung Galaxy 3 Tablet, Android 4.4.2

Edit: Yeah. It's the Painwheel Relic that's locking it up. I scrolled past it as fast as I could and it's letting me continue in the "store".

Sometimes I get this error message after winning fights. So far I think it only happened when playing daily event levels. Playing on an iPhone 6s running iOS 10.3.1. I know it's not my wifi or internet because I'm in the room right beside the router and my internet rarely goes down.

Rarely, one of the special move buttons become slightly bigger than it normally is. Only saw it happen a few times before but never seen blockbuster buttons affected by this glitch.

Parasite Weave Filia's Intro animation doesn't correctly display her eye colour. It's shown as white when it's supposed to be red.

Despite having the same Intro animation as Parasite Weave, Dread Locks Filia doesn't seem to be affected by this bug since her eye colour is blue throughout.
