When I get hit with some huge combo or whatever, I don't get salty, I get hype. Like, "FINALLY, A WORTHY OPPONENT"

There are a few character designs that just don't fit with the theme. Like, they seem to be going for horror-movie riffs and gothiness, but then there's a genie girl and a frog ninja guy and a shark dude with a big lobster claw? They look like characters from a completely different game.

What about, like, a monster with a giant mouth who has chainsaws for teeth? Or a zoning character who shoots chainsaws as projectiles?

It's sort of both. They're meant to be cool, but in a Warhammer 40k "Let's be as hilariously metal as we possibly can" sort of way. I think that sort of stuff is rad, but hey, different strokes!

I think when a character design is that intentionally ridiculous, people who complain about how stupid it is are sort of missing the point. Besides, how are chainsaw brass knuckles any crazier than a guy wearing a tank on his arm? :P But yeah you're right, there's a ton of characters whose...
