Big Band is a keyboard-friendly character. No 360s, has charge moves (which IMO keyboard/hitbox players have an advantage with), and playing trumpet with keyboard is hella better than on pad. I think it's more that their name is LesbianArises, so they're like "Hi, I'm Lesbian!"
