Biweekly fighting game tournament Rebel Up draws to a close, but with it came updates on upcoming DLC character Beowulf, courtesy of Lab Zero's Mike Z! Also, Shin was there.
- Beowulf now has a character select sprite and announcer soundbite.
- His idle animation is fully colored; his first cleaned animation!
- Beowulf now has his c.MP: A heavy-hitting punch with a surprising amount of reach.
- s.MP: Beowulf delivers a vicious punch, microphone clutched in hand. If held, he drops the mic and makes the crowd go wild. The falling microphone hits overhead!
- s.LK: A stomp that (currently) hits low.
- Chairless c.HK: Beowulf swings Grendel's arm across the floor in a 30f sweep that reaches over halfway across the screen. Causes Beowulf to fall over, requiring a ground tech (like Big Band's j.HK). While it cannot be comboed off of, it has two hits of armor!
- Part of his timeout: Beowulf sits on his chair and contemplates in frustration.
- With Beowulf's first colored animations come his first palettes! Welcome Batman and William Riker.
