Ask Ravidrath...!

If i make one or two suggestions for Big Band's Attacks, is there any chance they'd be read/considered?
They're already into animation, so I'd imagine they're well past the planning stage.

No profit? Like... at all? I thought SG was the top selling game on Steam for a little bit? What happened?
I can only assume it all went to the Konami lawsuit.

I think it's because all the profits go to the publisher. Then the publisher pays the devs for making new games or DLC, but in this case there's the lawsuit problem. Is it right?

Does this mean I could potentially see SG characters doing some intense jab pressure in corners and extreme damage scaled 100+ hit solo combos ?

haha awesome.

Are you guys gonna lend a Skullgirls char to UNIB? that would be really cool!

OK, working my way through these...

The profit issue is because we're just not entitled to any profit under the current agreement. We're working on something since we, uh, basically saved the game with the IGG campaign. But we're not entitled to any direct payments from PC sales or the like, at the moment.

I already owned the Skullgirls OST as an Amazon MP3 download. I went ahead and got the soundtrack off the IGG fundraiser as well, but I was just wondering, will owners of the OST on various digital distribution services get free updates as well, or is this just a Humble Bundle/IGG thing?

I need to check, but as far as I know iTunes, Amazon, etc. don't support the concept of updating or patching albums. We'll probably add these tracks to them at some point, but for now the new tracks will likely stay exclusive to the IGG OSTs.

I'm wondering if Marvelous AQL is happy with how the PC version of Skullgirls is doing sales wise. Considering that the people that were interested the most probably got the game during IndieGoGo campaign.

MarvelousAQL seems quite pleased with the sales so far. It's selling faster than they expected, and we haven't even started sales stuff yet.

Any news on that one Japanese dev who's working on the Arcade port?

M2? Not sure what their progress is - they haven't been asking us for support.

Any chance of getting the soundtrack in FLAC or some other lossless format?

I think we'll do this when the soundtrack is complete (i.e. all new tracks done), but no plans right now.

Also: get back to Brian so we can get your Evo winner's NPC done!

Fufufufufufufu...

A while ago i promised my friend when the IGG TF2 hats are made i'd gift them to him.
So will the hats never be released or after a bit of time?

Still working this out with Valve and trying to make them happen.

They'll be given out at a later time if they do go through.

Ended up unanswered by the big man...

There goes my hopes...

If i make one or two suggestions for Big Band's Attacks, is there any chance they'd be read/considered? or is the char's planning phase closed?

This is a Mike thing.

According to him: "There is a chance they will be read, and there is less of a chance that they'll be considered at this phase."

How many people still need to sub their Patron Saint+ background characters?

I think like only 5 at this point.

If all the NPCs that are going into River King Casino are completed before the Glass Canopy NPCs are completed, will the RKC NPCs go in? Or will you wait for all of them to be finished?

Can you get Alex to participate on the forums? Lots of people would love to ask him questions.

Good to know. I was quite worried that a bit too many copies "sold" on IndieGoGo and MarvelousAQL might regret it. :p I'm kinda touchy at this after the BlazBlue PC fail...

Fufufufufufufu...

That would be awesome to see. Too bad I probably will never get to play their game.

How is going deal with ArcSys regarding pallettes for Xrd?

i think there is still a chance for pc release (quote from dustloop):
Think they mention looking into Steam release after console release near the end of the article. Steam release was already known but it's good to know when to expect news on it time wise

are you sure they got contacted about submitting their stuff? i was not and didn't get any notification about it until i asked.

here's a question i had:
i like the sprites a lot and would love to see some of the characters in animated .gifs and such, so is it possible to add an option under the video settings menu that turns off the stage lighting effects so completely clean versions of the sprites can get grabbed from screenshots? and maybe it'll help out older computers that still can't quite run the game.

i saw something like this during one of those official palette streams a while back, so i'm pretty sure such an option exists in the dev build.

Another question: MikeZ mentioned something about how if you buy the color pack bundle on consoles and PC, you'll automatically get updates for future DLC characters. I appear to already have all 18 colors on Steam, probably because of the whole Endless Beta/IGG backer thing. But on Steam, it still gives me the option to buy Squigly and the colors, despite already having them in the main PC version. Just wanted to clarify that I've already got this stuff.

Getting closer, then! I can't wait to see them all in.

I'm pretty sure everyone got notified all at once. Don't know how your initial one from Brian would've not gotten to you.

I SECOND THAT!

And a sound test would be neat too!

nah! not exploits, but surely loads and loads of ringtones and youtube funny moment's sounds.

Yeah I wanna know if sound test, gallery, and movie viewer mode is in considerations , also would that include the character reveal trailers? Also would fan art get in like how blazblue took there fan art and made a ridiculously amazing art gallery of official stuff, side stuff and the fan base section?

Considering I streamed doing the design and ui implementation for the art gallery, yes, it is something we're "considering."

ugh I miss all the good streams...^^;

Can you get Valentine's voice actor to record "Kono Valentine Da!" or "Checkmeto Da!" in Dio style then assign the voice file to her Checkmate Incision super?

So for the people who got NPCs from the IGG, can we pick which stage (Casino or Glass Canopy) our NPCs would appear in? Should we email Brian about this stuff?

I know that (provided everyone sorts out their financial problems and you guys start actually getting paid) Umbrella, Marie, and Black Dahlia are top priority after the IGG-funded characters are done because they're needed for Canon Story Mode, but what's after them? Are you just going to go down the list from Minette to Regina?
