You can turn Samus's visor on and off during cutscenes. This moment made me even more excited for Bayonetta on Wii U.

Also, Bayonetta 2 will have an online co-operative multiplayer mode, Nintendo announced at E3. The mode is called “Tag Climax,” and will let two players team up together.

Additionally in online quick matches, you’ll be able to wager Halos, the in-game currency earned by defeating enemies. If you can prove that you’re a better fighter than your partner, you’ll earn a large number of Halos back.

Halos can then be traded in story mode to unlock new techniques, buy new accessories, and pick up alternate weapon variations.

But I don't feel anything in the trailers could compare to the stuff we've seen in the first game. I REALLY hope Platinum isn't restricted. But it is rated M, so I guess I shouldn't worry.

Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto said that PlatinumGames worked with Nintendo’s designers on each new costume that they created. Hashimoto said that, initially, there was an undershirt beneath Bayonetta’s Link costume, but that Nintendo suggested they get rid of it, since it wasn’t fitting of Bayonetta’s character.

I think we will be fine. No worries.

I'm wondering about the context of mech wars. Even for P* standards, that seems random.

Anyway, here's a small showcase of a couple of new weapons - Chernabog and Undine - around 01:32. Rest is the Masked Lumen fight and mech footage. (Looks like the Sage's "weaves" are the Auditio like Fortitudo's dragon heads.)

Speaking of weapons and according to the Wikia, the arsenal this time is:
NAME - TYPE - SET SLOT
Rakshasa - dual swords - hands and feet
Alruna - dual whips - feet
Kafka - bow & arrows - hands
Chernabog - scythe-rifle - hands
Undine - fire or ice thrower - hands and feet
??? - hammer - hands

That only makes it more likely that Masky's gonna end up playable at some point.
 
I wonder if they're going to get the original voice actors for the dub.

Found some interesting info on the demon that takes out Gomorrah in the prologue:

The new demon, the three headed one, the one that kills Gomorrah is called Labolas, based on the demon from the Ars Goetia, Glasya-Labolas, president and earl of hell, who commands 36 legions of demons.

He is the author and captain of manslaughter and bloodshed, tells all things past and to come, knows all sciences, gains the minds and love of friends and foes (causing love among them if desired), incites homicides and can make a man invisible.

But the curious thing here is that his favorite plant is the rosemary flower, and those who want to summon him should use the fresh scent of rosemary to attract him.

I don't remember seeing that at all in Bayo 1. Is that in Anarchy Reigns or something that happens when Non-Stop Infinite Climax is beaten?

At Anime Expo, Funimation announced the English voice cast for Bayonetta: Bloody Fate, the animated movie based on the original game. It looks like Funimation have gotten most of the major voice-actors from the game to voice their respective characters in the movie as well. Here’s the full list:
