Blazblue

Well it's not.
There's specific lines that you only hear in specific match-ups, not even just intros, but some attack call-outs are different, and guess what?
Not nearly as cool in Japanese when you can't understand it.
There's a ton of specific Ragna lines against Jin and Hazama and there's a lot more oomph to them when you land them because of it.
 
All I remember is at one point there was a glitch where Ragna wouldn't stop saying BITCH for every attack.
 
I do miss my "SHING!" tho.
 
So anyone else play hibiki? I'm having the most trouble on his last hard trial/mission thing.
The combo is CH 5C > 6BB > 6D > 6BB > 2C > 236A:B > 6BB...
I'm having the most trouble timing the last 6BB. Anybody have any tips?

Everyone knows the dub went to shit after they lost the original Bang, anyway.

I dunno about you, But I'm going to miss Kagura and Tao's voices too. I find the JPN toa voice a bit too squeaky.

So, Max "hates any anime that isn't Akira", playing a sub-only game , on an event where they usually play bad anime games and riff on anime in general tbhat they don't watch?

I LOVE Maximilian, but after the Project Diva incident, I can't be burned again so bad, especially with my fav fighting game

He's changed. Remember he used to hate Mortal Kombat too. Now he's more lenient on anime and Blazblue, and he's having a blast with the astrals.
 
Well, finished the whole stream. He likes it, was able to finish 20 challenges with Hakumen, and said he would need a lot of time to even et halfway decent with the system. Otherwise, a fun game that looks dope when you got everything downpacked.

So, from what I've heard, apparently, Mori is willing to do an Extend version of CF if enough copies are sold. Thoughts, anyone?

So much for "There won't be Extend for CF". Not that anyone believed him in the first place. :P

The number of times that the reaction was just saying the word Anime over and over.
 
Can't be much more Anime fighter than this game without borrowing actual Anime characters.
 
So we finally got the PS4 colors around here, but we have to pay for it. Feelsbadman
 
Only real complaint so far is that in the challengemode, if you beat a mission, it doesn't save that you cleared that mission until you back out to the challenge menu. Got burned by that one twice. Also, no way to retry a challenge after the first time you clear it. Though, if you go back to it, you can do that particular one to your heart's content, so that's okay.
Also, and this is a weird one, going from bbcf to something else( in this case tekken revolution and mash episodes in mp4) through the home button menu that overlays the transparent xmb causes my ps3's videooutput to go screwy. My tv goes blank, and I have to reset. It doesn't appear to be serious. As I'm not getting any error messages. And this only happens with bbcf, but not if I use the quit game function, so it at least is avoidable. Weird.

So I've finally put in a lot of time into this game and I have to say... The combat is great but everything else is lackluster. Story is shorter, has less gag endings, loses some of the charm of previous stories without things like Teach Me! Miss Litchi or Help Me! Prof Kokonoe.

No more unlimited chars, simplified bonus modes, no more English Dubs....To;dr: fighting is good but everything else feels lackluster. I'll probably come back to Chronophantasma extend for whenever I want competent single player content in a BB game. Don't think it's worth full price if there really won't really be an extend version.

I believe Mori said he would do an Extend version if there was enough interest in one, but no current plans for one atm.

Wait, there aren't any in BBCF? It's starting slowly to sound like they are cutting out content for Extend or something.
 
The problem is they said they'd only do an Extend if the game got enough sales. And from how dead the online already feels...that feels unlikely. Feels like no real love went into this tbh.
 
It's unfortunate, but the BBCF English dub petition is closed... T_T
