USA [Dec 8, 2017] SALTY! Friday Weeklies @ Game Realms (Burbank, CA)

Funny i used to live in the area a while ago on Rayen St. i think across the street is an El Super if memories serves me right and down the street on Chase is the mall....
 
Is anyone heading over today? I'm gonna be down in the Granada Hills area and I would like to meet up with someone so we can go.
 
I'm a granada hills resident. I have the scratch to go but I only have it on paypal. if you wanna work that out then you should totally pick me up and we can hang.

the thing is i dont have a car. i know how to get there by biking from my aunts house but i doubt that ether of us would do that cause Panorama at night is not all nice and dandy. ( lot of nasty things happen out there, trust me ive lived there)
 
Mad respect for biking, I'd probably do the same if I still had one. Unless you'd want to double up and hitch a ride with someone else it'd be p much a hangout and not much else.

do you know anybody close to you? the only person out here near me is MegamanDS but i dont really know him and i dont know if he is going.
 
Nah, I don't know anyone else who goes he lives out here. I usually just try to get picked up by Shin_ATProof.
 
well im going down right now to my aunt. I could ask her to give us a ride. ( shes pretty cool. so dont feel bad about it)
 
So if I arrive like say 30 min. early for the event, is that okay or would I have to wait until its time?

Tomorrow Skullgirls has 2 big streams.

First the tournament stream with Mike Z. at Rebel up starting at 4pm PST

Jyosua stream

Next @Night Phyre will be streaming a "fight card" style match up event starting around 5:30 PST but we might push back to not overlap 2 streams.

No, the 86 stream will be run by NightPhyre for a "fight night" style stream where he gets 2 big names and plays them in a FT7 match up and there will be about 4-5 big matches with a main event.

The Jyosua stream will be with Mike Z. and the tournament. I believe Mike will be showing updates and it will take place before/after the tourney.

We are trying to stagger them so you guys can get an "all day" Skullgirls fest.

For hopefully the last time:
Jyosua stream/Rebel Up will be what Salty is with the Beta updates and Tournament.

Rebel Up replaces the regular Salty stream at its regular location and time every other week.

The plan as of now ,unless a there is a special event is one week we will have Salty at UGC on Friday nights. The next week it will be at Super Arcade on Saturday afternoon.

So today, Salty will be at Rebel Up so guess where Salty will be next week? Friday at UGC. Guess where it will be the week after that? Super Arcade on Saturday.

The plan is to have a Salty event each week between those two locations. If it isn't at either of those locations it's not Salty event!
This isn't tough to follow. At least it shouldn't be.

I am pretty sure I changed the event to be bi-weekly PROPERLY, as it is now the 11th instead of right before next week's Rebel Up.

I had fun and I was hungry all day and I got my metaphorical ass handed by Mike very hard.

I am glad Verdant acclimated to the community. Methinks if he gets a chance to do it more often he'll fit right in.

Remember, we are here tomorrow (04/10/2014)! They let us stay suuuuuuuper late last time, was pretty cool. Had to beat the sun to bed though so ducked out at like 3am D:

Soooo... question: I can easily find a ride there, but since Wing and Bang aren't going. Is there anyone kind enough to get a lift home? I live about 5 minutes away from the place.

ask Shin, i get rides from him so hes your best bet, im around the Granada hills area at that time

Is 5 minutes an exaggeration? If not, I mean, I could drop you off. Just as long as I can find my way back to the freeway, everything will be okay!

I already asked Shin, but yeah, Google maps ways 10 minutes, but it feels hella shorter when Bang or wing drives me O_o then again, it may be because it's like midnight and there's no traffic and stoplights are normally green at that time.
 
@Mike_Z I am now hearing that there is no Salty this friday but in the stream last week you said there was? True? I was gonna come and show you my Fukua :(

Hold up, yo - I wasn't at Salty two weeks ago and I never spoke on the recent Rebel Up stream. So if someone said that, it wasn't meeeee....and if I said that in the stream chat somewhere, I was misinformed because I forgot the UGC tournament shifted a week.

You are correct though, there is no Salty this Friday. Mes apolos.
 
There's been some talk about Salty moving to Saturdays, but that is officially not happening. It will continue to take place on Fridays.

@Nos_talgic is planning on starting "Under Night Fridays" on the dates that Salty runs. We're going to see about running consistent tournaments the way Rebel Up does. Tonight will be SG and BB to start.

Also, before you ask - no, UNiB isn't out yet, but once it is, we'll add it to the lineup.
