Tatsunoko was legitimately amazing since Capcom jumped through a bunch of hoops and even removed content from the game so that it could be released in the west
Project X Zone could only get a western release after the dev team was forced to license all the IP's involved a second time.
If this game's getting a western release (unless a western release has been planned since its conception (while knowing that it won't have as big a western audience)) you guys aren't gonna be seeing it for a while.
So probably not much more time for character reveals if there are any more. Roughly 12 playable characters with around 2x assist characters is ok for a recent first entry fighter. I don't think this game was intended to be presented as a Dengeki Bunko vs Sega fighter just from looking at the roster, but more about the cameo presence like Sega inspired stages and surprise guests Akira/Pai. Worst case scenario this will be an easy import title since there is little chance for localization outside of rare cases such as Aquapazza. Pleased about a Vita edition too since that handheld is just excellent for playing fighters.
Sega has released the first screenshots of the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, due out in Japan this fall.
The Ecole and French-Bread-made fighting game is developed in celebration of Dengeki Bunko’s 20th anniversary, and features fighters such as Sword Art Online‘s Asuna and Kirito, and Oreimo‘s Kirino. The console version will add new elements not in the arcade version.
Shizuo got top billing because lord knows all the bitches love Shizuo.
Actually that's pretty much true.
Dude steals the spotlight in every second of the show.
It IS a little weird that all of each novel/show's first reps are secondary/deuteragonists instead of main characters and all of the main characters are either revealed afterwards or only as an assist, if at all.
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax will launch for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on November 13, Sega announced.
The console versions will have a large number of original modes not featured in the arcade version, including a new “Dream Duel” mode where players can enjoy conversation events between characters, an online battle “Network” mode, etc. By using points earned playing the game, you’ll be able to unlock special content and color customizations, as well.
