I think it kinda is?

Don't all Trump Cards give the character a short term power boost? It's just, if it's not an attack it boosts more and can serve as a roman cancel.

Oh wait, no they don't.
They just make certain attacks more cancellable, especially assists.
I thought they gave you buffs but nah. Just the explicitly power up trumps.

What do the Accel World girl's power ups do?

I know that one of them makes one of her some of her moves more range.

If your talking about the non Japanese players they did with their imported copies for awhile, but two months after the localization of vanilla dropped most of the community moved to Ignition by now.

Ah, I figured, I got the game a little too late, but some people still play it. Had no idea ignition existed until after I got vanilla.

Looks like she traded her juggle game for a jiggle game
more seriously, an assist lockout reducer is an awesome idea tho

The way she interacts with her assist character is pretty unique.
 
She isn't the first one. On top of head~

Tatsuya [as assist] has unique interaction during Basketball loli's super if you have him.

Taiga also brings out the assist character from her LN/Show during her super even if you didn't pick that assist.

Some point+assist character combinations have unique dialogue with each other as well.

Shield dude assist very likely appears in that magical girl's super regardless if you picked the shield dude assist or not.

I was talking about her ability to shorten the amount on her assist's cool down timer.
 
That is neat, but looks like a gimmick. In a real match she would get blown up trying to charge that in neutral.

I don't know about that, man.

We'll have to wait and see. She could turn out to be assist abuse.character.
 
I'd be lying if I didnt mention how amazed I am at how they get around animating in the least amount of frames and movement possible lol

Are there inbetweens to anything? lol
 
I mean, unless something's changed with the recent updates most characters have about 250 frames in total, so uh,
they're very conservative I guess :0

I mean after a certain point you can literally see the pattern in how they animate most everyone in the game. I could literally download the sprites to prove my point (or disprove it) but it's pretty evident : p

I can imagine how much hope was crushed when Tatsuya was upgraded to playable, but they haven't done it for another support since.
 
If I'm hurt by anything, it's that there's like 2 Irregular characters, 2 Railgun characters, 3 SOA characters (which I kinda get since that's such a massively popular series), but still just Shizuo by himself repping Durarara.
