We can only pick between things that do get submitted. If you know any good artists that may be intersted, I'm very easy to contact if they have any questions or ideas.
72 dpi is suitable for web graphics (banners, ads, backgrounds, etc.)
300 dpi is our minimum, any less than that and the quality will quickly deteriorate. All the things we are doing is for print, so 72 dpi is unacceptable.
Fan character, as in character's created by fans that don't exist in the official lore. And Annie is present in the game, theres a few billboards with her.

The main requirement is that it has to be something from the game. Shirts don't have to have a character slapped on. Shit, I did one for the River King Casino.
Which I am wearing right now. The Dak'Kuul Dubu and River King logos are definitely some of my favorites because they don't scream "THIS IS A VIDEO GAME".

I wish more entries were more than just outright slapping a character picture on a t-shirt. In fact, I don't think I own any of the purely character art shirts at all.
Good stuff! Need more Last Hope in our lives.
Psst... Magenta buttons! MAGENTA!
Yes, e-mail info@eightysixed.com and they can take care of you if it's for Skullgirls, Aztez or Archeblade.
This is still going, take a look around the store to get an idea of what we are looking for.Wish I'd found this months ago. Is it still going? I'd like to enter & would use Flash for the final art. I think I can figure out the transparent BG thing. Here's what I've been posting in the Art section.

Any preference on who/what to focus on?
I asked a bit about this in the EightySixed & Gen Fanart sections, but since there wasn't a response, maybe a new topic is the best place.
Oh, but I figured I'd ask here if any color, composition, or anything else might be improved before submitting it. I'm also doing that at Animation Nation forums. I'm ready to show it here, but do other EightySixed people do that, or enter straight to 86'ed?
Your best bet was to e-mail me, I don't always check that/this thread.I asked a bit about this in the EightySixed & Gen Fanart sections, but since there wasn't a response, maybe a new topic is the best place.
Finally finished my first pass at a piece I want to submit to EightySixed for my first time. Stayed pretty close to the game/concept art to keep them on model, but did change the poses a bit. I was going for a movie poster feel to match w/the theme of the game. Hopefully it works. They prefer Photoshop or Illustrator, but I don't use those programs, so I hope Flash is OK.

If cleaned up I actually would totally want that as a laptop cover or something.Hey a design I wanna submit mind checking it out warning parental guidance is advised NSFW?
A new topic was not your best bet :P It'll be more helpful for everyone involved if there's only one eightySixed thread. Discuss anything and everything about 86 designs and submissions here. I will look into updating this thread so it's a bit more discussion friendly though if you feel it's going unnoticed.
Feel free to post designs in here for discussion if you want. Designs are often shown on devART and other places before they get submitted to the store anyway, so if you feel you'd benefit from feedback before you submit it post it up in here. @Maji has said he's willing to give feedback on stuff (though he might have meant via email or PM. I dunno. Help, Maji!)
