What does help is get good at the game, show up to events and help other people get into SG.
in our defense, we're not really bashing Injustice, we're bashing how people played in the finals. like, if people did more rushdown and actual combos instead of spamming the ranged attack for mixed characters. it's a community problem, not a game problem.

yeah... you're right.... I do have every right to say that those finals still weren't entertaining at all.

some people find zoning intensive gameplay fun and that's fine.

I'm really out of practice since I haven't had a good net connection for a month and no one in my area plays anymore, but I kinda wanted to go to EVO anyway. Though I doubt I can get the money for it anyway. I need to try to make it to final round though.

Didnt we have like 30 second raw tag combos in our finals or whatever?

Oh I absolutely have a backup.

However, after noticing the amount of gray hairs in my beard from trying to get lazy dumbasses to go to tournaments, I gave up and stuck to my own weekly gatherings. I'll be at EVO, but I'm done trying to get the community to go to tournaments, let alone hold them.

yea i enjoyed watchign skullgirls finals last year but can definately imagine the minute long rawtag combos that killed for like 1 meter probably raised a few eyebrows from non SG players.

im real excited to see this years top 32 though since its a whole new game + 2 extra characters.

my trip to UFGT is coming to be a bit cheaper than I thought it would be, so going to EVO is looking more likely.
I just hope that it's as exciting as it was last year!
and hope i can make it out of pools this time. :D

Hopefully he'll reach at least top 8.

My brother, who never played or seen Skullgirls before, was extremely turned off by Severin's rawtag combos. "Aren't there combo breakers in this game?" he asked. Still, I won $10 sidebetting so I can't complain.

And even so, if the curse eases up a little... perhaps there will be... 3 extra characters?

Anyway, when I first saw Skullgirls to big, long combos id turn me off a bit. But the all playable female cast made me want to give it a go.

Planning my trip to Las Vegas to come play with you guys and I'm trying to figure out how much moola I gotta dish out to enter Skullgirls. Also, if anyone knows how much it is to enter P4A (if it will even be there as a side tournament) that would be grand.

I was wondering if we'd have a Second Annual Salty Vegas or something but scrapping Salty that week in favor of doing WHO Y'ALL LIVE?! sounds like an awesome idea.

My flight gets to Vegas at 5:15pm, so assuming it actually arrives at like 7pm because of the west coast illuminati I should still have time to do whatever it is we're doing on Thursday night.

Man would I love to.. attend this year. That said things aren't looking too good at this moment. Still trying to scrape up some free $$ to attend UFGT10 at least.
